The Volcano Forest Inn is convenient to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It is a quiet place, relatively new, breakfast is included. If you plan to spend time at the national park, this is an inexpensive option.

Spacious, immaculate rooms. Dan the host is a bit on the quiet side, but as friendly as can be. Internet worked well. Breakfast of pancakes and freshly cut fruit was adequate. Everything you need in a B& B Very good price!

Stayed there for a couple of nights in Aug 2016. The place is very clean, apparently newly remodeled, room was very large. The location is great too. However, this is not a great BnB at all: - the host was cold and not very welcoming. Right when we arrived, he asked us questions about where we were coming and how...

We had spent 4 nights in a beautiful resort in Waikoloa before staying here for 2 night on our honeymoon. We were not expecting much as we booked it for convenience. We did not want to be driving in the dark for too long so staying in Volcano was essential for us. The host is quiet but we did not...

The Inn is very close to Volcano National Park. Each room had a lanai. The restaurants in the area were very good. The host described each of them to us and also had a menu. The host is quiet but very accommodating. The breakfast was advertised as continental but was a full breakfast. It was not the best breakfast I...

I guess when I came here given I paid close to $200US I was going to get something a little better. The room was massive! The size of some peoples entire flats in the UK. However was surprised to learn they close 9.30pm so don't be a late arrival. Stayed open a little longer though to see us in (which...

Located away from road for a very quiet stay. Room was extra large and clean. Breakfast was the worst of any of the dozens of B&B's we have stayed in. Skip the breakfast and eat out. Host was not very friendly.

I chose the Volcano Forest Inn because of it's proximity to the Volcano National Park and because it's one of the few places in that area with a TV nd Wifi in the room a. My husband would have lost his mind if he didn't have his nightly hour of surfing the channels before bed. Both of us travel constantly...

The Inn is a little hard to find since it is set so far back on the road. Convenient to a couple of local restaurants and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, allowing us to go to the park twice during our stay. Easy trip to Hilo, if you want to see the city. But we have stayed at nearly 40 bed...

The hotel is very close to the national park so it's at the perfect place to sleep after your whole day activities in the park. The property is hidden behind a narrow drive way but GPS has no problem finding it. The house is very well maintained and the room we stayed is spacious. it was cold on the day...
