The view of the waterfalls and the grounds were extraordinary. Young girls on the staff provided excellent breakfasts and support. Hawaiian weather was hot and our King Kamehameha room with the best exposure to the falls outside the windows was also very hot with its West exposure and it was hard to sleep even on top of the covers with...

There are some minor issues which if corrected would move them into the top drawer. Nothing major. The rooms are a bit small and the amenities in the rooms are a bit tired, however you are right beside one of the best waterfalls on the Big Island and definitely the best in Hilo. Breakfast is very good, with lots of...

Offensive host, out of date rooms, mediocre breakfast. The owner booked us in the wrong room and when we told him at check in he got mad at us and lied and said the room we wanted was booked prior to our call months ago. We were on our Honeymoon and spoke with him a long time about the property...

What a fabulous time! I loved being able to roam the beautiful landscape of this truly slice of heaven. My husband and I stayed three nights which was really not long enough. The laid back atmosphere of self check in makes you feel right at home and the macadamia nut waffles made to order are D-licious! I loved getting up...

This Inn was a highpoint of our trip to Hawaii! It is way off the beaten path. Although not difficult to find, I was glad that the first time we went was in the daytime. Very quiet, with beautiful trails where we didn't run across any other people. In the evenings, we were serenaded by what seemed to be a million...

We had a great stay in the hibiscus room. The rooms are nice and the grounds are amazing. The breakfast was great with some delicious fresh fruit, and Jasmine was very helpful with pointers for our trip. If you are staying in the Hilo area I would definitely stay here!

Amazing location with waterfall and view of Hilo. Bed was super comfy. Food was good, though eggs and waffles may have gotten repetitive if we stayed for more than two nights. Check-in was a little odd as it was self service and we arrived in the rain at night, but we managed to figure it out.

What more can you ask for than a nice room by a spectacular private waterfall a short drive from Hilo and its surrounding sites? The inn is well kept and the staff very non-intrusive. The drive from Hilo is beautiful and takes you through macadamia nut tree groves. The inn itself looks over Hilo and you can see the lights...

This is a quirky hotel, but if you like something a little bit different, you will enjoy this inn. I wish we had stayed longer; leave yourself some time to swim in the pool at the base of the falls. Don't be put off by the curious approach through private roads and a mac-nut farm to get to the inn...

W had a lovely time at the Inn. We only stayed for two nights, but managed to explore the grounds/gardens and take a refreshing dip in the pool at the bottom of the falls. Lenny's breakfast spread was terrific! We would definitely stay again.
