Can't say enough about the accommodations, the wonderfully accommodating and friendly staff, but especially the grounds. From our bedroom in the Pagoda we had a spectacular view of the falls, which also provided soothing sounds by which to sleep. The inn is about 6 miles from the center of Hilo, driving through some beautiful scenery, including trees, ferns, wildflowers, goats,...

Stayed here for 4 nights in the Pikake Room and loved it. Accommodation is good (not amazing) but the place is so peaceful and set in lovely grounds with a waterfall on view and accessible for swimming near to if you desire. Our room was a little small but bed very comfortable - again the bathroom a bit small but...

I'd definitely recommend staying at the property. Nice breakfast, amazing view, and excellent staff! The bed and room were amazing and very cozy. We got late and even in that time there was somebody available to show us everything!

We spent six nights in the Pikake room, thoroughly enjoying the sight and sound of the waterfall. It is a glorious sight, both during the day and at night when it is lit with a soft lavender light, and especially after a heavy rain when it thunders even more beautifully off the cliff. We had several great visits with the...

This is our third stay at the falls we really enjoyed our stay and the grounds we're as beautiful as ever. The rooms are nothing to brag about but that's not why you're staying there. The girls didn't like the cockroaches but that's what you get in an open environment in tropical weather. We would definitely go back.

This is a great place to visit. Especially nice if you want to relax. Rooms have charm and are not cookee cutter hotel rooms. However, it is not for everyone. It is by a waterfall and in a natural area. There are frogs chirping and the sound of the waterfall. Pros 1. A nice breakfast is included with fresh fruit,...

We stayed in the Harmony House. It is a converted house with seperate rooms and a big shared kitchen. Had lots of privacy when we wanted, and lots of people to visit with and get advice on things to do. Great breakfast overlooking a gorgeous waterfall. Thank you to Lara for all the travel advice. Beautiful grounds overlooking a lush...

The Inn is located down a long, narrow, winding road which is best traveled in daylight, but the journey was an adventure in itself. The property is very tropical with an amazing main waterfall. Breakfast was good if you can handle meatless and eggless. Being near a waterfall makes everything damp, that is to be expected. I would recommend this...

Spent 2 days. Beautiful views of waterfall with hiking trail. Friendly helpful staff. Accommodations mediocre with musty linens, sofa bed that was not very comfortable. Breakfast heavy on carbs, lot of breads fresh fruits but no protein, was a little disappointing. We spent 2 days, one would have been enough.Glad we were able to experience the waterfall but not high...
