I wish Trip Advisor could award a gold star for places that are better than the 5/5 rating. The owner Pete greeted us with a warm welcome after a long day of travel. He said “I have the best, cleanest bathrooms in the West” and he was NOT exaggerating. The teepee we stayed in was a 5 stars: clean, relaxing, tastefully decorated, and featured a luxurious bed with lots soft blankets. *Don’t miss the massage chair or the local sample lotions in the bathroom. Hands down best place to stay, period.
Great, clean and very modern. The massage chair in the men’s bath was a life saver. What a nice sense of calm and relaxation. Ten miles closer to Yellowstone and a quick pop into Cody which has great museums and decent eateries 😎
Super clean, friendly accommodations - just loved our overnight in a Tipi on our way to Yellowstone on the bikes! Highly recommend! Everything we could’ve needed and more including massage chairs in the bathhouse. Also a few nearby options for food as recommended by our hosts if you’ve already passed through Cody.
I had the privilege to stay at Wheels of Wonderment for 3 weeks and could not have been happier. You will absolutely fall in love with the campground. The location can’t be beat, so quiet and close to YNP with a creek that runs along side the campground. The owners, Pete and Laura, are wonderful and make every guest feel at home and welcome. They often leave food out so you can feed the llamas and goats. The bathrooms are very clean and there’s even a massage chair in both the men and women’s restroom. Breakfast pastries and fruit is provided early each morning. There’s also ice, campfire wood, and laundry machines available onsite for a fee. I felt comfortable as a single traveler to go for runs in the area, but bear spray is never a bad idea. Other guests were very respectful. Definitely book in advance because they fill up fast! Enjoy!…
Had a great stay here on way out of Yellowstone. We were 3 persons so stayed in a Tipi (1 of 3 I think). A double bed and an easy-to-make large futon. Lovely with fresh air around you. Bathrooms were spotless and super. And the massage chair was incredible - both kids did 20 mins each in it whilst watching TV! It was fresh at night but we snuggled up. We took fruit and pastries as breakfast, played some basketball and shot off. A great contrast to Super 8 et al - really glad we stayed
