As far as I'm concerned, the Tea Kettle Ranch is the gold standard for B&Bs. We were a long way from our home in Washington state, following the route of the Oregon Trail back west with my brother and his wife, up from Kansas, and spent two nights and mornings in the delightful company of Isabel and Calvin. From the...

We so enjoyed your stay and swapping information about traveling in this area. We share the same feeling of getting to know our guests, bonding and then feeling the tug at our hearts as we wave farewell. Thanks for sharing time with us and your kind remarks. We hope your trail leads back out this way again so you can...

My husband and our two children stayed here for a night on our way back from rapid city to Denver. This is a gem. The scenery is beautiful. The host are very gracious. We had a wonderful breakfast and lemon pie. I enjoyed a nice long run, albeit windy and hilly. The stars at night were just magnificent. It was...

We needed a place to bed down for one night on our way back to Denver. We found the Tea Kettle Ranch B&B outside of Torrington, WY. And what a find!! Calvin and Isabel are fantastic. Their home is immaculate, comfortable and welcoming. The views from the rooms are wonderful. We availed ourselves of the BBQ steak dinner they offer...

We so enjoyed sharing our location and heavenly scenery with you as you traveled back to Denver. We enjoyed having the grilled steaks and homemade cream pie that evening at sunset. We hope you will travel this way again. Thanks, for your kind review.

If I made double what I do, I would have no problem giving this a 5. As it is, I would be hard-pressed to find a better view or a more pleasant couple of owners. I definitely felt like I got my money's worth, even though I am a cheapskate. The steak on a stone was great and the sides...

When you drive out of Torrington you realise that this is going to be somewhere special. This B&B is tucked away but in a spectacular location, with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed watching the thunderstorm circle the surrounding hills, before waking up to beautiful blue skies. The large Skyline Suite had excellent views across the surrounding countryside....

You were fortunate to stay when we had an incoming storm to watch and still had the opportunity to view the expansive views. Every day is a treat when we have guests. Sharing a meal with guests is also special for us and coconut cream pie is one of our favorite pies. When you arrived, you were strangers. By the...

We only spent one night on a drive from Denver to Rapid City, but we wish we could have stayed longer. Isabel and Calvin are lovely people and were completely accommodating. They made us feel like friends. Their home is about 13 miles from Torrington, with nothing around but incredible views. You will experience quiet and nature. And fascinating conversation...

We enjoyed telling the story of how the bull lead us to this awesome location and some of the history of our family members who settled in Wyoming as homesteaders. We love where we live and never tire of sharing the blessings of nature with others. Cooking for guests is a treat for us as well. Thanks for your kind...

Fantastic place to stay, and I'm sad we only had one night here. The ranch is far removed from any near by towns and you really get a feeling for what it means to be "of the grid". It's a little hard to find, but worth the hunt.

The Tea Kettle Ranch B & B is a great place to easily get away from the responsibilities of a job and just relax. Any one of three decks is sure to provide a quiet escape with a view. This year the sunsets have been awesome. No two are alike. The evening stars have also provided sparkling reminders of the...

I cannot rave enough about Calvin & Isabel Hoy, the hosts at Tea Kettle Ranch B&B. They have found just the right place between treating you like a good friend of the family and treating you like a paying guest. Their home was built in 2000 (2001?) and they have been hosting B&B guests for 13 years or so now....

One of the favorite meals for guests is Steak-on-a-Stone. Each guest cooks his own steak at the table on a heated piece of granite. The steak is done just the way you like it since you are the cook! We stayed for one night at the Tea Kettle Ranch, and wish that our stay had been longer! The hosts, both long-time residents of the area, were charming and extremely welcoming. We especially enjoyed hearing about how their ancestors came to the area to farm and ranch-- it really gave us perspective on this beautiful place in the United States....

We love the land where we live and appreciate sharing our spacious views and comforting peace and quiet. We encourage guests to stay for more than one night to re-discover the slower pace and simple life in this area. We were born, raised, married and continue to live within the county where our ancestors settled and carved out a life....
