Very nice cozy hotel! Stayed here a weekend and the new manager was very helpful suggesting places in town to eat and where to swim and spend time. He did not mind helping with needs like extra towels for our swim, adjusting room temperature, and other things! Highly recommend stopping in for a visit!

I had a great stay at this place. Though it is an older property, and has its quirks like any older property would, my stay was very comfortable. The manager brackets or owner? Brackets was incredibly service oriented and went above and beyond as far as I'm concerned. The room itself was large spacious, and comfortable. The bed, a king-size,...

Hi....a friend of mine suggested that this Motel was a nice place to stay as we were traveling through. He was there the week before. I stayed there and during the night I felt what I thought was fleas or something. Turns out they were bedbugs. I notified the Manager and she immediately moved me to another room. After staying...

clean rooms, nice bathrooms, continental breakfast offered. coffee all day in "lounge room", economical, both two bed rooms and three bed suites available, sinks separate from bathrooms, breakfast is packaged donuts, coffee, (don't remember if there was juice), breakfast bars, and toasting items--they have a toaster there.

Beds were hard, and one of the two smelled. Good towels, short shower, the fridge wasn't on when we got there, but cooled quickly, out of town a bit, they have a nice grassy area with bbqs and a fire pit. The "continental breakfast" was coffee and granola bars. The room was somewhat clean. Shower would switch from scalding to...

Under new management and the staff we met were new but trying! It appeared clean because we looked before we booked. Beds had no mattress pad and sheets on one bed were dirty. There was one towel and when they gave us more they were thin and small. Old food was in the frig. The remodeling is great because we...

Another commenter said they don't understand the bad reviews. Let me explain. Checking easy and staff pleasant. Room with two queens for my sister and me was plenty big and room had a full sized fridge and a microwave. There is the good. Beds were spring mattresses on which you could feel every coil. Neither if us could sleep. Sheets...

The place is under new management. They have nice clean rooms. It's quiet and cozy. The rates were reasonable too. Recommend this place to everyone!! I had wifi and breakfast. Also anytime I had questions or concerns the staff was quick to respond. No phones in the rooms but with everyone having cellphones these days... I didn't mind. :)

Our journey got us 2 hours away from our reservation here, so I called to confirm they'd have a room for us; "sure 'nuff, come on!" Clean room, hot water to relax after long driving day, and really comfortable bed. Can't complain one bit about the rate, too!

I've been to the Coachman Inn several times recently and have always had a good experience. Check in is hassle-free, the rate leaves plenty of extra money left over to go see the sights and enjoy dinner out at one of the several restaurants around town, and the rooms are far better than others I've stayed at around the state...

“Higher numbered rooms (there are 20ish there) are quieter since they are further from the road and office. However, there are no in-room phones so you'll be farther from the office and will have to walk or use your cell phone to contact them about any issues.”
