We spent a week at the Medicine Bow Lodge in the middle of a 3 week trip across America. This proved to be a truly magical experience. The countryside is spectacular, and the facilities very comfortable, but what made it for us was the people. Tim and Debbie Bishop were very welcoming and we soon felt like part of the...

Riding in Wyoming has always been a dream of mine that was fulfilled this summer. I spent a glorious week at Medicine Bow Lodge with Tim and Debbie. I took this vacation alone and was worried that a woman by herself would feel uncomfortable. That was not the case. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The kids on the staff...

I came alone, from Italy. Also if so far from my country, in a moment, I felt at home. All the stuff of the Medicine Bow Lodge is so friendly that make you feel part of a family. The food is delicious, and I enjoyed all the meals! The lodge is in the middle of the wilderness, riding through forest...

My husband already submitted a review of our trip to the Medicine Bow Lodge below entitled "Families Welcome!" Please read that, as he did a great job expressing what a wonderful experience our family had at the ranch. However, he failed to specifically mention the wonderful food and I just could not let that stand. Debbie is an amazing cook...

My family has visited twice now & both times exceeded our expectations. We are in love with the place and hope to go back every summer (if I had my way)! I love the home cooked meals, cozy cabins, and the beautiful horse rides. Debbie & Tim are so accommodating to whatever we want to do. It is one of...

I thought I was someone who just loved visiting big cities or places I knew for vacation. When my husband suggested Medicine Bow as a family trip, I was worried it would be too remote. How wrong I was! The lodge is lovely and the food that Debbie prepares is simply five-star. I'll be spoiled by that gorgeous food the...

I have never done a review on trip advisor before, but our experience at Medicine Bow Lodge was outstanding, and I feel obligated to share how great the staff and Lodge are. If you are looking for an impersonal, regimented dude ranch experience, look elsewhere. This place will allow you to rub elbows with the cowboys and cowgirls at chow...

I've written very few reviews here on TripAdvisor, but I have a very good reason when I do it! I've spent 3 night in Medicine Bow Lodge as part of a trip of mine to Wyoming and it was a wonderful time! First of all, you have to know what to expect. If you are looking for an hotel with...

Me and my buddies recently stayed at the Medicine Bow Lodge for our annual snowmobile trip to Wyoming. As always we had a great trip. Tim and Debbie are the best. Feel more like family than Hosts.. Great food. Cabins are cozy and the main lodge offers a big flat screen, wifi, pool table, etc. I have been visiting here...

Our family stayed five nights at Medicine Bow Lodge after Christmas and had a marvelous time! We snowshoed, went snowmobiling and just hung out by the fire. The meals are awesome and all homemade. Tim makes the best cinnamon rolls and Debbie makes some of the best desserts! We felt at home and most welcomed. Our rooms were nice and...
