Inexpensive and very nice. Don't let the exterior fool you. Rooms are very nice, bed very comfortable great place to stay after a long day on the road. Staff very friendly, rooms very clean. Good location, next to cross roads cafe where the menu is huge and chai tea is off the hook, wish I could have tried desserts

The best hotel ive ever stayed in by far. The rooms are neat and clean. The staff and the owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Really enjoyed my stay all around. ITS JUST LIKE HOME!!!

Great place to stay. We stayed here for four weeks while doing a job. In those four weeks we got to know the owners and some of the regular guest. Couldn't have met better people. They'll do whatever to make you feel at home. Would recommend staying here if in Newcastle. Tell Stacy that Brian said hey!

The rooms are in an older house. My room was at the end of a hall on the first floor. I would imagine not much has changed in the rooms. Small clean bathroom, plenty of towels, etc. Mattress old but not bad. Has micro and frig. Price okay. Really do not think there is much to chose from, The Pines,...

only a few parking spots-had to park in mini mart parking lot across the road. when we got to our room the door was wide open- just a wood door with a key. had problems with the tv, breakfast was packaged doughnuts and granola bars, at almost $100.00 for the night it was WAY OVERPRICED!

The Motel is old but maintained and clean. Lobby where continental breakfast was served was inviting and cozy. The room was neat and clean with TV, DVD, microwave, frig, coffee maker, desk, and 2 chairs. We stayed for 2 nights and the people there were very friendly and informative. The only downside was the bed was not very comfortable. The...

Poor parking and over priced room leads me to only rate this hotel as a 2. Room was only serviced once over a three day period. Room rate does not reflect the quality of the room. Other hotels in the area are more economical.

My husband, myself and some friends traveled through Newcastle, WY on the way to Sturgis, SD last month and stayed at the Sundowner Inn. Their prices were very reasonable and the front desk clerk, Stacy, was quite nice on the phone. Newcastle itself wasn't much to write home about. It's a mining town and all that that implies. I understand...

Had the opportunity to stay a night in Newcastle and started reading the reviews on Trip Advisor looking for something nice, clean, quiet, and priced right when the Sundowner caught my eye. I called and talked to the owner Stacey and made the reservation. She was also there the afternoon I checked in. You'll find this to resemble kind of...

“If you have plenty of luggage or usually require assistance loading it to your room you're best to ask for a ground floor room or ask for assistance in getting it up the stairs. It can be a bit of a walk up three flights of stairs to the upper floor.”
