Stated here since the Tesla chargers are located here. Very friendly and helpful staff (they even offered a cup of coffee as I was initially just going to charge my car and continue on my way), clean rooms and wonderful breakfast in the morning. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again traveling though!
Pool & hot tub to relax. Nice picnic & play area. Wifi good continental breakfast great rates. Clean rooms bigger than normal hotels. Table & desk in rooms. Great staff. Very clean. Tesla charging terminals! Close to many great restaurants. We stay at least once a year. Always a great experience. Oh there is a sauna & exercise machine too.
This hotel was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Easy walking distance to places for lunch or dinner. Good location to start off the next day’s travel into the Black Hills, Custer Park, Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore.
Nice clean motel. We stopped here for a night on the way to Custer from Loveland and pleased we selected it. Breakfast was included in the price which consisted of the usual muffins, yoghurts, toast, waffles, cereals etc. Large rooms and comfortable bed and well looked after despite being an older type of mote and reasonably priced. Lusk doesn’t seem to have many restaurants but the cafe as you drive in from the south has a good varied menu and the food was good.
From a very warm greeting to a huge bedroom with two queen beds it is difficulty to fault this motel. Breakfast was fairly standard fare but we had a great stay here. There is an indoor pool but we didn’t use it so cannot comment on that facility.
This is motel from the 50s. It's old school, but still well cared for. The owner was very nice. The breakfast was good. You do have an actual key to get into the room, so you only get one and don't lose it! They do have an indoor pool that has a deep end and a shallow end (not like the ones you see in hotels a lot that are pretty shallow). They have pool noodles you can use and a hot tub. The whole pool house has the rustic cedar paneling in it. It's kind of nostalgic. There is a sauna but I didn't try it. My kids loved the pool and the temperature was good. They also have a playground. I would stay again, but it seemed a little spendy for how old it is even though it is well maintained.
We stayed one night on our way to South Dakota. Randy was very friendly & welcoming. The hotel was built in the 1950's, so yes, it's dated. But it's clean. Our room was large enough for a king size bed with room to spare. Our room was very quiet as we were not close to the road. We got a good nights sleep, which was what we needed. We didn't take advantage of the pool and other amenities as we were in a hurry to get on our way.
The staff at this hotel is very friendly. The desk clerk remembered me from my last visit a year ago! Nice and quiet. The complementary breakfast was ok but not as many choices as last year. Overall this is a great place for families to stay.
You use a real key to get into the room i was in but mine did not work. The man at the front desk was very nice came and tried it himself he also could not get it to work. He called the owner who said he fixed it but we still could not get into our room. Thankfully we was only staying 1 night my son's were staying in a different room and there bathroom light did not work.
We were passing though and this served a purpose but wouldn’t want to stay for more than a night. We arrived late to a really friendly welcome then parked right outside our room. Decor inside was very old fashioned (AKA old) but most things were there, including a fridge, coffee machine and microwave. There was only one bedside table, which was poor and the free lotions and potions in the bathroom were all the way from Australia!! Breakfast choice was weak, with no yogurt or fresh fruit. There was a daily special but nobody came to serve it as we sat there for 20 minutes. All cutlery, plates and cups were one-use plastic and Styrofoam. We were getting used to this!
