The Kudar Motel & Cabins is an ideal stopover point for those traveling to and from Grand Teton National Park and the South Entrance to Yellowstone National Park on US Highway 191/US 89. The Kudar Motel is located 2 walking blocks from the Town Square in downtown Jackson Hole to enjoy the shops, art galleries, restaurants, and local watering holes. The Kudar Motel and Cabins is a designated historic property originally built by the hands of brothers Joe and Max Kudar in 1934 and is still owned and operated by the Joe Kudar family today. The Kudar Motel is famous for its 17 historic log cabins, 14 motel rooms, and the original homestead which face a quiet and relaxing, park like setting in the center of the motel's 4 acres (which may explain its repeat guests who have been staying with them since the beginning). Guest especially enjoy the convenient parking available right in front of their cabin or motel room.

This is an old motel with fun little log cabins. Park right in front of your cabin. The cabin is small and the bathroom smaller but we had a comfortable king size bed. The towels were thin and well worn.

We needed a place to spend the night before catching a plane the next day. Finding an affordable room in Jackson, WY can be a challenge, even in late September. The Kudar Motel is close to downtown, and not too far from the airport, so...More

Thanks Margie C~ Many of our guests stay again and again with us for the reasons above, and on top of that, the Kudar Motel and Cabins are only a ten minutes from Jackson Hole Airport and four miles to Grand Teton National Park.

Thank you Bellaire56! Our cabins are historic, built in 1934 by two brothers who came up from southwestern Wyoming to play baseball. Little did we think, the Kudar Motel and Cabins would be here 84 years later! Thank you for the comments!

My husband and I traveled to Grand Teton and Yellowstone. I decided to use family owned or independent hotels this time instead of the chain hotels. I was pleasantly surprised. This motel was very clean...room and grounds. It is a little dated but it served...More
