Stayed multiple nights in a two double bed room configuration. Room was small even for two people. Not sure if larger rooms exist but if you need/require a larger room, best to ask before making a reservation if they have various sized rooms.
We stayed at the Flat Creek Inn for two nights in September. After seeing the traffic and the crowds in Jackson, we were happy to be a bit outside of town. The location is perfect for getting to Grand Teton. Our room was clean and comfortable, and I loved the view from our second floor railing. The coffee was a bonus, and it was so nice to fill up our gas tank there before we traveled on. I highly recommend this hotel.
Incredible view of Elk Preserve, close to town, and attractions. Very clean room. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed greatly, plan on staying here in future when we come back. Just a stone’s throw from Downtown Jackson Hole, even have great view of the ski slopes! Get up early and drive just 3-5 min to see moose and elk grazing.
Great location, friendly staff and warm stay! The location is right across from the elk refuge where you wake up to views of elk herds, at least in the winter. It’s just a bit outside of town so parking isn’t an issue. Great rates too!
We bookended our August trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone by staying at this hotel. The rooms were soooo clean. Shockingly so for a hotel, to be honest. I am the type to notice dust in corners missed by regular vacuuming and both rooms we stayed in were spotless. Beds are comfortable. King rooms are spacious enough for 2 people to have room even with 2 suitcases and hiking packs. It was fun to grab a cocoa at the end of the day in the little convenience store part. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out from the main road. The staff were friendly and accommodated us leaving luggage while we went to eat breakfast and return our rented vehicle in town. Jeffrey arranged for a driver to take us to the airport in their shuttle. Definitely would stay here again!
Flat Creek Inn was one of our favorite places to lodge during our 3 week vacation. The lodge is 1.5 miles from town so you are out of the hustle and bustle. It was nice having a kitchen & dining area especially since the restaurants in town had a long wait. We mostly grilled out, but did use the kitchen to make breakfast a couple times. We were able to refreeze our water bottles in the full size frig for our cooler. The onsite mini-mart offered free coffee, hot chocolate & fountain soda all day and carried a couple grocery items we needed including fishing license. The coin-op laundry was located on the second floor which was slightly inconvenient but was certainly helpful. The only reason I would not give Flat Creek Inn 5 stars is because there isn't a hot tub or pool. I save 5 stars for very few establishments. We would stay here again just for the great location to GTNP.…
Able to fill up rental and return rental car. We enjoyed the big kitchen and clean rooms. There was some noise from a person upstairs who was up fairly late, but we didn't bother to report it. We were happy to find a reasonable rate at a convenient location.
My son & I stayed in a 2 queen kitchen room. Very clean & spacious. Full size stove & refrigerator which we used. Everything you need is provided, i.e, dishes, pots & pans. Free coffee at the attached mart & gas station. Great staff in the office as well as the little store. Absolutely great location! 5 minutes from downtown Jackson Hole, 5 miles from the jackson airport & only a little bit further to the Moose Junction entrance to Grand Tetons NP. You can’t beat the location! The water pressure in the shower was really good. Right across the street from the Elk Preserve, although at this time of the year, we didn’t see any. It must be fabulous in the winter. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there anytime we are in the area again! Thanks for the great customer service & comfortable surroundings!…
So first you must know that Jackson Hole is a VERY popular area and prices are accordingly very high. This was the best deal I could find online that fit our needs. The hotel is an older style Motel right along the main highway to the park with outside entry doors. Everything seemed well "broken in", but was all functional. The Room is medium sized, but seemed clean. There was a fridge and microwave and coffee maker. The TV was decent sized with cable and decent channel selection The bathroom was quite small, but was clean Room lighting was average The AC worked OK. The outlets were all old and loose and plugs tended to fall out. There was no breakfast, but the adjacent mini mart had breakfast sandwiches for $5-6 and coffee There was no gym or pool or anything. Highway noise was an issue during the day, but at night it wasn’t too bad The bed was comfortable, but could have used another blanket The hotel is quite convenient for visiting the Grand Teton park as it is on the main road to the park itself. The hotel was fine, but for $300 per night I expected a bit more in terms of fit an finish and amenities.…
Great place right outside of town if your looking for a quieter atmosphere. Still close to town if your looking to go and enjoy the great food and shops in Jackson. Closes to the Teton's. Very clean and nice rooms. Has a little store on site and gas pumps.
