I needed a room for a night in Jackson in a hurry. This fit the bill nicely. The price was high for a Quality Inn but competitive for Jackson. Outside appearance was nice, lobby was inviting. They put me in what may have been the dowdiest of the hotel's three buildings, the one with three floors across the parking lot...

We visited Yellowstone and Grand Teton in late August. The plan was to stay in West Yellowstone for our entire 7 night vacation. However, when forest fires closed the road between the two parks we decided to try to find a room in Jackson for our last 2 nights. We felt very fortunate to be able to stay at the...

We were on a wildlife watching tour and this proved a good base to start and end our tour of the Grand Tetons and then on into Yellowstone. The hotel does not have a restaurant but is close to some excellent places to eat in town. The rooms were a little tight on space but were adequate for us. The...

I paid $185/night, which is about as good as you can get for around here. The good: The room was clean and large with a fireplace and an HVAC that worked very quickly, the included breakfast was very good, and staff was very nice. I could not get into the indoor pool and gym at 6:15am after having taken a...

Having been told that the hotel had been refurbished recently we thought that's nice. When we went into the room what a shock! First, the rooms have a front and rear doors. Entering from the front is from a hallway that is almost outside to the parking lot. The back door opens from an interior hallway right (almost) into the...

Good place to stay just off the main drag. The room had a fireplace, fridge and lots of room but heavens the price is just too steep. The alternative is not much better. Seems like they have figured out that tourists will still come. Not exactly family prices. In any other town outside a national park the price would be...

The room was $299 a night...the furnishing are all very old and massive for the space. Everything in the room was brown...the lighting was poor and the linens on the bed were old and sad. There was no space in this room to put your luggage and have room to move around. There was an elevator in the section we...

We booked a room for $177 (AARP), and found it quite OK. There is a good break fast and good coffee. Bed and pillows satisfactory. Room was very quiet. Within easy walking of town square. Only complaint was that the room was poorly lit. Turned out to be a good choice for us. Stayed 3 nights.

Jackson is the jumping off point to the Grand Teton National Park, and immediately north of that, Yellowstone National Park. Land available to the public is limited, so it's definitely a seller's market. My colleague and stayed at the Quality Inn for one night in mid-September 2016. Under normal circumstances, we would pay half the rate for a comparable motel....

No restaurant on site, but close to town centre and many bars, cafes etc and amenities there. Buzzy, rather commercialised town. Friendly service, clean, comfortable accommodation. Good views of ski slopes at rear of property.
