Stopped for a quick snack while on the road and a bathroom break. Immaculate bathrooms; good selections of refreshments. Very polite employees. It was a good stop for us between Jackson and Casper, our ultimate destination for that days's journey.

We planned to stop in Dubois on our way to Jackson. Every motel in town was booked so we headed toward Jackson and found this gem about 13 miles outside of town. We stayed in the motel portion which is hooked on to the lounge/restaurant/store. The room was very spacious, a little dated but very clean. The building is rustic...

We ate here recently on a Friday night when they have their "Fish Fry". The fish was wall-eye and it was delicious. We would like to go back whenever we visit Dubois. We did not stay in the cabins but they looked great as well. May have to try them on our next visit to the area.

Lava Mountain Lodge would like to extend a huge apology to the participants of the event you were a part of. Lava Mountain Lodge had an agreement with the organizer to provide up to 40 beds and meals for event participants and we made arrangements for exactly that. Event participants began to arrive at LML and demand private accomodations for...

I stayed in a motel room for one night. The motel room door opens to the road. There's nothing else located near this facility, it is quite secluded. The motel portion is located immediately off of the main highway, yet the room was very quiet. It was clean and comfortable and the satellite TV worked well. Nice extra large picture...

We stayed in a Grizzly Cabin on our way through to Boise. The cabin had heat and electricity, which was great since it snowed while we were there. I called the night before to book the cabin, and they were very accommodating with our late arrival and early departure. I'm not rating 5 stars since we were there less than...

We were rained out of camping at Yellowstone and needed to find any place that had availability for a few nights until our next leg of our journey. LML was the absolute best to us and our kids! It was a diamond in the middle of what left like no where. All the staff was super friendly and the room...

We were returning to Dubois from Grand Teton hungry so the sign outside the restaurant told us that it was BBQ night. After checking with the waitress to see if we could be seated and fed before they stopped serving our party took a seat. Before we ordered we were told there were only 2 items on the menu still...

Thank you for choosing Lava Mountain Lodge & Wilderness Boundary Restaurant on The Togwotee Trail to Yellowstone. We apologize for any misconception of our small wilderness resort. For 11 years Wilderness Boundary Restaurant has been doing a spectacular Summer Weekend BBQ. Our BBQ is prepared fresh each Saturday and Sunday during the Summer Season. BBQ takes a lot of time...

Stopped there for a bite to eat after a all day ride through Yellowstone national park and the Grand Tetons national park. The food was awesome and the service was A+. Very nice people and I definitely would recommend it. Great place and when I'm back out in this part of the country I will be stopping again.

I've lost track of how many visits we've made here. This is a great lodge near Grand Teton National Park minus the crowds. Lava has everything you need: comfortable sleeping arrangements, gas, store, restaurant, bar, peace and quiet, and beautiful views.Choose from a variety of accommodations. We've stayed in the the lodge rooms, Grizzly cabins as well as a Park...

“We like the rooms and we liked the Park Model cabin. Given a choice without money as a concern, I'd get the Park Model Cabin whenever available- it's big enough for several people to stay in, but is great for just my wife and I too. Plus, you have a kitchen if you want it.”
