We traveled to Yellowstone and couldn’t get a place that was even close to the park. We stayed here. Accommodations were clean, rooms a little small but all in all the place was nice. Staff were great folk.
A couple of years ago we discovered this little diamond while on a RV trip. We enjoyed it so much, we stayed extra days. This fall we returned and was not disappointed! Wonderful campsites right along the Wind River, immaculate bathrooms, & even an off-leash...More
My wife and I stayed at the Longhorn Ranch from Aug 28 - Sept 1. We reserved a back-in site next to the river. We have a 23' travel trailer.
Check-in was quick and easy. The staff was very helpful in providing local information.
A really nice campground on the Wind River. Good service, reasonable and great location. Dubois is a great area for BigHorn sheep, river rafting, fishing and is the home of the The Hacks. Do not leave w/o a home made pie at the Cowboy Cafe!
Room was very nice, comfortable, warm, enough room to move around in. Bathroom was more than adequate. I'd stay here again. Nice decor, pleasant people at the front desk, Did not stay for breakfast but it looked to be good.

Yes, Longhorn is very pet friendly. I took 5 dogs with me. Many people set up little fenced areas to give their dogs more room to run as they otherwise have to be leashed. They also have a non-covered kennel area you can keep your dog for a small fee. I opted for a boarding kennel in Dubois and it was atrocious! Better to keep them at Longhorn if you are planning a pet-free day in the national parks.
