We stayed at the Douglas Hampton Inn for my sons graduation. The hotel was clean, the staff there was not only friendly and helpful, but they anticipated things we would need and consistently asked what they could do for us. I am not sure I have stayed anywhere except Mexico with better customer service.
Welcoming front desk, spacious room with comfortable beds and quiet surroundings, excellent breakfast, helpful staff provided all requests and were cleaning regularly community areas. Felt safe and comfortable.
My daughter and I arrived in Douglas too tired to drive any farther and stopped at the Hampton Inn and Suites. The desk clerk was very friendly and welcoming, and quickly got us checked into a room. Beds were so comfortable, we were asleep within 15 minutes. In the morning, we enjoyed a fantastic free breakfast: fresh fruit, eggs and sausage, waffles, juice and coffee. The lady at check-out was also very friendly, and we were able to continue our journey fully refreshed.
Rm 320 faced the south. Did not hear the freeway. Clean, friendly staff. Lauren gave a quick and friendly check in. Breakfast was one of the best we have had during covid times. Hot and tasty. Large TV. Nice water pressure. Walking the dog was very difficult. No landscaping. No grass all mud. They need to clean the entrance very muddy.
We enjoyed our night getting stranded in Douglas due to how comfortable and accommodating the Hampton Inn and Suites was. The location was convenient and the room was very comfortable. The staff also allowed us to bring our small dogs that were traveling cross country with us.
Friendly staff, fast check in. Lobby clean. Ample parking. Room spacious and clean. Offered mire bathroom towels then some hotels. Hair dryer, refrigerator and coffee maker. Beds comfortable and breakfast offered a nice selection. Would stay again.
This is my second year in a row to visit this location for the local antelope hunt. Will definitely be back next year. Rooms were quiet. Secure. Staff was excellent. The location couldn’t be better. And plenty of parking
I've stayed at many of Hampton Inns all across the United States. It's a great brand in the Hilton line-up with consistency in accommodations and a solid breakfast to start your day--though I wish they'd leave the ham out of the Spanish omelette for us veggies. At any rate, this hotel has a great location right off the interstate and a short distance to many food options--the subs from the grocer next door are amazing!--and a good stroll into town for drinks (try White Wolf while it's still there), or even closer, to the river for a scenic walk. The only drawbacks--and I swear this is just like the ice cream machine at McDonalds--is the hot-tub was out of service. I've seen this at more Hampton's than I can count on two hands and it's always a disappointment when you arrive after a long ride (motorcycles) and can't get a good soak in, and if you look close, you can see the rooms are showing wear and could likely uses a bit of attention in the future. I wasn't recognized for my "Gold' status on arrival but the front desk was kind enough to provide an upgrade when I asked if any were available--so I call that a wash. Make sure to go downtown and see the Jackalope--it's. not a trip to Douglas if you miss paying homage to this road-side attraction,…
Enjoyed the proximity to highway and nearby eateries. Clean rooms, warm breakfast items and ample space in breakfast area. Digital key and check in available. Hampton Inn & Suites in Douglas, WY provided us with what I usually expect when staying at a hotel by Hilton. Two thumbs up!!
This was the only "chain" hotel we stayed in on our three night trip, and it was the best in terms of cleanliness, newer amentities, larger room, etc. The provided breakfast was better than most "free" hotel breakfasts. all in all, convenient location, plenty of eating options near by, etc.
