A truly fantastic place for an overnighter or even longer, I stayed there recently as a part of a two couples group and can't complain at all. we were always made to feel welcome and the staff couldn't have done anymore to make us feel part of the Shoshone family. There are a number of cabin configurations to suit your...

We instantly fell in love with this stop on our national parks trip! From the moment we stepped in the lodge every employee we encountered was so nice and accommodating. We felt like family and we were only there for one night! (Note: wish we'd had MORE nights here) The cabins are very nice, and all original exterior wood from...

I'm a local a huge problem with tons of the guest ranches is they don't have rates for one night or where you can just pay for activities you do...well this place is AWESOME! If you want an overnight cabin and a horse ride this is a great place. Totally affordable for locals. The horse ride was a ten I...

When you land on the homepage for Shoshone Lodge & Guest Ranch one of the first things you'll notice is that they have provided location information: "3 miles from Yellowstone", "46 miles from Cody", "outside the East Entrance of Yellowstone". You've been informed. Now it's your responsibility as an adult traveler to understand what that means and how it may...

We stayed at the Shoshoni gas Lodge for two nights thinking is very close to East Yellowstone Park entrance. The drive from the East Yellowstone area to this Guest Lodge takes you through miles of Mountain Roads, many times with no guardrail at times. It will take you an hour and a half to get from Shoshone Guest Lodge back...

We truly enjoyed our stay in mid-July! Very clean, quiet & comfortable. Excellent, outgoing, & friendly staff - I am pretty sure we met and talked to all of them! Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Nightly campfire is a great time to relax and talk to other guests and staff. Be sure to take a trail ride with one of...

Tucked away in the woods this place is a gem.We had a two bedroom cabin that was just lovely. It is located just outside the east entrance to Yellowstone National park. With wild animals walking around in the area you could not ask for anything better. Our cabin looked new with a gas fireplace and plenty of room we very happy for...

We stayed 2 nights in one of the cabins. This was good - but don't expect luxury. Clearly there had been some recent work on improving the kitchen facilities in the cabin but it seemed a bit haphazard - especially the huge fridge! The restaurant had a reasonable menu but we were amazed when the food arrived - generous portions...

We stayed here 2 nights and really enjoyed it. We stayed in the Bunkhouse cabin, which was very spacious for the 4 of us. The staff were friendly. The restaurant food was very good, but sometimes they were out of what was on the menu. The pies are excellent! It was a great place to unwind and relax in the...
