Rimrock Dude Ranch is approximately 25 miles from the town of Cody, WY. This dude ranch will pick their guests up at the nearby Cody airport free of charge. If one chooses they can rent a car, but why bother when all the transportation is provided by the ranch to the nearby attractions. Our group was relatively small comprising of... More

Every member of my 10 piece Family did NOT want to go home after our most fun, adventureous, relaxing, wonderful week of riding awesome horses, great wranglers who were such fun but sure knew their horses, attending a rodeo, playing an insane giddy baseball game, enjoying every meal, sleeping with the creek sound through an open window, meeting and bonding... Rimrock Dude Ranch is a spectacular place to spend a week enjoying the west and riding beautiful horses along mountain trails. Recently I took my young adult son with special needs to Rimrock for a week of horseback riding, and we had a marvelous time. Many of the Rimrock reviews talk about the staff commitment to ensuring that each guest... More

This is a great place for a family vacation. I went with my 2 daughters (age 11 and 13) and they loved it. My youngest rides regularly but my older daughter, and especially I, were novices. The wranglers were great and catered to individual's level of need (I usually rode in the back, close to the wrangler to get a... More

One of the most memorable trips our family has taken. If you are looking for a place to unplug and reconnect with hospitality that is top notch, Rimrock is your place. Gary, Dede and the entire staff do a first class job. When you arrive the scene is majestic. Cotton wood blows through the air, a cool steady breeze on... More

Our family decided on a last minute holidays trip to snowmobile in Yellowstone. We called rimrock ranch the only east entrance snowmobile tour provider. Dede Fales the owner truly made this trip unforgettable and she arranged for everything. Our tour guide Terry Dolan was exceptional and very knowledgeable. Our tour was outstanding and all details were taken care of down... More

We ate at the little restaurant out front on Rt. 16. My husband ordered a hand cut 32oz steak medium and I ordered the 18oz. They were cooked on an outside grill and were perfect. It came with salad, baked potato and corn on the cob. So much food for the price. I would eat there again.

Rimrock was the perfect combination of activity and relaxation. Everyone who works there is genuinely committed to creating a perfect vacation for each guest. Meals were scrumptious and served with smiles, the horses and wranglers were top notch. We slept with our cabin windows open to the sound of the rushing creek each night. We are not a horse family,... More

It was first time everything: first time in Wyoming, first time horseback riding in mountain. The Rimrock ranch management created truly family atmosphere. The staff was not just courteous, but very attentive to guest needs, anticipating wishes. My son and I intent to come back with friends and family.

If it would be possible, I would give Rimrock Ranch 6 points! The ranch and the cabins are situated in a small valley a short distance from the Highway, but so isolated, that it's very quiet and peaceful. Each family had their own cabin, all meals are served in the lodge. The cabins are a bit rustic, but clean and... More
