Century old style hotel. Old style pull chain toilets were very unique. The rooms were clean with BRIGHT FLORAL carpet. Beautiful wood carved bar downstairs. Western gunfight outside in the street every night. Great prime rib buffet and breakfast was terrific. The Dan Miller show was across the street and was fun to watch. A rodeo was close to the...

My husband and I booked a historical room at the Irma because we were trying to have an authentic, historical experience in Wyoming. When we entered the room, it appeared very nice, but was dark. Our room's main window was overlooking a balcony which was under construction. There was a large garbage can filled with fast food boxes, and other...

Was unable to sleep past 8:30 am. Was awakened by 3 or 4 VERY loud Slavic /Russian speaking people in hallway. I'm assuming they were the cleaning employees as they were knocking on doors and had a cart of supplies nearby. When I opened my room door to see what all the commotion was about, there was a tall young...

We stay here 3 nights and when they tell you there are ghost that live there, I will agree. That is another story for another day. The hotel is great except no elevator. The rooms are very spacious and the decor will just memorize you. The beds are very comfortable. Parking is a lot to be desired but it can...

Our bus tour of the National Parks stayed overnight in Cody at Buffalo Bill's Irma Hotel. What a delightful and historical stop. We were so impressed with the original pieces including the bar, restaurant, furniture, rooms, and pictures. The staff was very friendly, rooms comfortable , clean, and food excellent. We loved it and look forward to returning.

Highly recommended! My family and I ended our four-state western trip in Cody, Wyoming, and we could not have done better than to have ended our vacation in Buffalo Bill's historic Irma Hotel. The "historic" room we reserved was well worth the few extra dollars that it cost. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with period-style furniture, some of...

Cody Wyoming is named for William Cody, he wasn't born there but he was raised there. He built the Irma Hotel which is still standing with a few modifications but the actual hotel is still intact. He established two rooms for himself on the top floor, one he used for his office and another room down the hall was his...

The Irma is right downtown on the main street and convenient to everything, and only about and hour drive from Yellowstone. We love old hotels. This one was built by Buffalo Bill in the 1890's. Somewhat updated, but still has that old hotel charm and quirkiness. Excellent food in the dining room. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Definitely...

My experience of the Irma was very positive, overall. It's not the Four Seasons, but it has charm and definitely takes you back to the early 20th century. The furnishings are lovely and look authentically anitque. Rooms were clean and all were a little different. I highly recommend the Irma Suite. We were told it's haunted but never encountered a...
