We appreciated the feel of this old hotel, and spent a very comfortable night there. Our mistake was to eat in the restaurant. Have a drink and admire the decor, but don't eat there - terrible food and poor service.

The hotel restaurant has the best prime rib I have ever eaten. With all the beef I have eaten around the world in my lifetime I can truly say that this is number 1. Perfectly cooked medium rare, moist, tender and oh the flavor.
