This hotel has become a must stop for us when traveling to Texas and back to Montana. Very dog friendly and has a great area to walk your dog after a long day on the road. Room is always clean and quiet.
The Holiday Inn is the best hotel, hands down, in Casper. Unfortunately, it's way out of the way on the eastern edge of town about 15 or 20 minutes, depending on traffic from downtown. The airport is a good 20-25 minutes with no traffic. Outside of the hotel bar/restaurant, which serves basic food, there really aren't any restaurants nearby. If I had to guess, I'd say the Holiday Inn was built between 2009 and 2012. Some aspects are very dated. Everything is clean and in good working condition. I would have liked to seen a better restaurant (especially burgers and steaks) since there is nothing within walking or easy driving distance, if you're going to have drinks. Denise at the front desk was awesome. Seriously, the best Holiday Inn/IHG front desk employee I've encountered since the pandemic. My room was clean and comfortable. That doesn't mean my room didn't have issues. I couldn't find any USB outlets by the nightstand to charge my phone, the bathroom light could not be turned on without turning on the fan, and a thermostat on the wall separate from the window-mounted AC unit. The carpet and art in the hallways felt like something out of the early 2000s. It just made the hotel feel old. As an IHG Spire I received a voucher for a drink and snack. There's just one problem: There were no snacks. Not even granola bars. Also, there was no coffee in the lobby. It would have been nice if there was coffee since the restaurant isn't open for guests taking the early morning flight out of Casper. This is one of those properties that with a floor-to-ceiling renovation and a better restaurant could be a much nicer property and perhaps branded under Crowne Plaza or Hotel Indigo. There's only so much you can do with a Holiday Inn. Casper deserves an upscale hotel.…
The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable (the sheets were so cool and soft), the towels were large, everything was wonderful. Breakfast is not included in the price, but the value for the money is still great. I have zero complaints. I highly recommend this hotel.
We are going cross country and were pleasantly surprised to see this relatively new property close to the highway. We just needed a place to sleep and this was a good one and COVID friendly. The price was reasonable too.
We booked this hotel for the pool. Our son had been sitting in a car for over 11 hours and he desperately needed to get wiggles out. By the time that we arrived, all of the "reservations" were taken up due to a large party at the hotel. This was a HUGE disappointment. The rooms were decent. Check your alarm clocks! Ours went off at 3 am. I would think that this should be part of a checklist for housekeeping while cleaning the rooms. There were also people running up and down the halls at midnight. Needless to say, we didnt really sleep very well. I would not stay here again.
Newer Hotel just off the interstate. Price was low compared to others in Casper of this class. Covid restrictions of course so pool and hot tub were closed. Has a restaurant and Bar on site. Would definitely stay here again.
I don’t do reviews, nor do I look at them, I just normally stay somewhere and either go back or flip the place off when I drive by. This east holiday inn in Casper,WY is one of the best hotels I’ve been to in many many years. The front desk staff, maintenance staff, and bar tender and chefs did the best I’ve been around in awhile. I will be back. Even if I have alternative options with family I may choose to stay her instead. 5 stars!! ***** Thank you 87$ you could double that and I wouldn’t blink an eye
This is a great find in Casper. It is a large hotel, free parking, everything is updated and modern. The room was spotless and clean. Best room we had during our two week road trip. We stayed in 6 different place. this was the best. The only negative is it is about 5 miles from downtown Casper. Not a big deal, there are plenty of services available in the area. They have a bar and restaurant that are OPEN!
We were on a road trip and had already decided where we were going to have dinner (Fire Rock Steakhouse) and wanted a hotel close to the restaurant and near the highway so we could resume our road trip the next morning. This place filled the bill and turned out to be a good find. Seems to be a newer hotel; the rooms were clean, spacious, well appointed and had Bath & Body Works shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. The sheets were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The only thing we felt was missing was free breakfast, but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. We didn't stay to order breakfast off the menu. There is a pool and workout room, but we didn't use either.
Very convenient location. Nice big rooms that were comfortable and quiet. Safe off road parking. Everyone was working to be COVID compliant. Workout room was available by reservation and equipped with treadmills, ellipticals and stationary bike.
