Nice lady running the place. Cabins look to be WW2 era. Could use new furniture. Shower modern, but bath area and door are small. Room needed a few things fixed. Camping on the fringes of the property, and assisted were run down and dirty. Price was good. So cabin itself is fine.

These guys here were really nice. Helped us back in and hook up. However if I had seen the "campground" I would have kept going. We've stayed at the motel before and really liked it. When we saw they had a campground we just stopped because of that. It's really just the side of the motel with hookups. Water and...

Mountain View Motel has awesome rustic log cabins for a reasonable price. The biggest negative is that the bathroom is kind of micro-sized, but the real log ambiance and wonderful towels make up for it. If you like rustic and are looking for a good value, this is the place for you.

We arrived after dark and rang the bell. No problems with check in. I was thrilled with our little cabin. Plug ins were a little sparse, but everything else was just fine. There was coffee in the courtyard in the morning which we really appreciated. It looks like they need to spruce the outside of the grounds up a bit,...

This motel is very well ran, Melissa was very kind to me and my spouse from check in to check out. I rarely encounter so much good will and kindness in any of the other hotels I've/we've ever stayed in! Anything we needed: I.E: ice, directions, coffee in the morning, whatever... She was extremely helpful and pleasant. Made us feel...

Did not disappoint. Cabins were the cleanest accommodations I have stayed in for some time. After reading other reviews I was worried it would be noisy. Slept with the windows open and heard only silence. Check in was quick and very friendly. Nice central outside sitting area for coffee. Pet friendly:).

Not your typical motel. Adorable cabins surround an open grassy courtyard where visitors can connect with other travelers. The flowers add bright splashes of color against the light colored cabins. When you enter the cabin, you see that it is actually a log cabin with beautifully varnished wood. We enjoyed the friendly personable staff and took advantage of the availability...

This is my third year to stay at the Mountain View and it just keeps getting better, while the prices remain low. The first thing I noticed this year was the plethora of beautiful flowers, imagine scores of colorful hanging baskets of color every direction one looks. The second thing that caught my eye was the authentic Native American Tipi...

On our trip from Saint Louis to Yellowstone, the Mountainview Motel was one of the high points of our trip. This is not a chain motel with people living on the other side of the wall. The Mountainview is an old style 100 year old group of 14 cabins, situated in a park-like setting. The inside of the cabins have...

We stayed one night in August 2012 on our way back to the Midwest from Yellowstone. The owner bent over backwards helping me try to connect to his wi-fi (unsuccessfully, I have a finicky laptop), sold me an SD card for our full-up video camera, and gave good supper recommendations. The courtyard was lush and shady and there was coffee...
