We planned a impromptu weekend vacation to see fall colors and to visit friends in the area. The fantastic manager was very helpful in recommending sightseeing things to do during the off season in the Dells. We really enjoyed the free passes to Kalahari indoor theme park. The ro

We stayed two nights the second week of October. Our main reason for the visit was a boat tour at the Wisconsin Dells and then on the Milwaukee. The leaves had begun to change colors and the area was not busy at all. A very good visit. The owners of the All Star Inn were very kin

I stay here as much as I can when I travel to the Dells area to do photography. Mark is always very attentive to the visitors needs and helpful to local restaurants and events. Rooms are very clean, well decorated too. I almost hate to say good things because then it'll book u

Stayed here in a last minute vacation stop in the dells. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms, up-to-date rooms. Easy access to dells attractions. Nice clean pool. A small number of minor annoyances, but nothing that ruined anything, like it could use an upgrade in towels. Lots of

The website says personal computer is needed for the wifi. Can anyone explain why this is needed? I am just hoping to have my girls use their ipads on wifi before bed as we wind down for the day and would rather not bring a laptop if possible.
Hello, I'm the Resident Manager. That's a great question. I'm afraid that we have awkwardly worded that section of our website. I will get it corrected. It means that we do not have any public use computers in the lobby. It should say "personal device required." Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I saw 2 very recent reviews regarding bed bugs. One of the reviews mentioned which room they were in, the other review didn't. Can either the person who occupied that room or the staff please confirm which room the problem was in? We are currently staying here right now and are very creeped out. We saw pest control here today so we are happy that something is being done about it. Still creeped out though
Hi. I wrote the review about room 42. It was upstairs near the middle. I'm still creeped out! My daughter's bites were very bad! They are finally starting to disappear. I had Orkin check our house and everything seems ok. I did our laundry twice to be sure we didn't bring any into the house. Orkin took care of the luggage etc. We threw stuff out too. I didn't want to risk it. We have nice mattresses at home. I just feel bad for the people who stayed in room 42 before us. They definitely brought more than memories home with them!

When is your pool at the motel closed for the season?
We try to keep our outdoor pool open as long as possible. Which means that our pool does not have a set close date each year. Weather permitting, we like to keep it open into the middle of September. :)

"I like first floor rooms. They have a section of rooms without a second floor so no worries of loud upstairs neighbors."
"Ground floor rooms 27, 29 and 30 easy walk to the pool and it was easier to go outside with the dog. Parking right outside your door."
"There are three sections to this place. If you go to the two story section, beware, I did not see an elevator."
"great pet friendly"
"Share any concerns you may have with Mark before arrival."
