I have stayed at the Silverchryst several times and have always enjoyed my time there. James runs a fine inn and Mike runs a terrific supper club. Together, they are a great team and a couple of great guys to boot! The rooms are clean and comfortable and enjoy a spectacular view of Silver Lake. While I have only stayed...

Typical Wisconsin supper club .. Awesome bar ... Beautiful view of Big Silver Lake ... Slightly pricy ... But just a nice atmosphere ... Known for the prime steak but don't dismiss the pizza or other bar item choices

My family and I stayed here many summers when we were young. Flash forward 30 years and I brought my family here. The rooms are almost the same, the beds are very uncomfortable, and the air conditioning barely cool. I wasn't excited with our room location -- right inside the always unlocked door. Super skimpy on the soap and shampoo...

Just getting away for one night, out of town. This resort has a restaurant attached and two different kinds of rooms to choose from; motel or lodge. The motel rooms face the lake while the lodge rooms do not. The furnishings are a bit dated, but the value and scenery make up for it. Also, the staff is most accommodating...

I stayed here in February 2014 with 7 of my fun, crazy cousins. We're making this an annual get-together and have reserved rooms for this February. It was perfect for us. We had adjoining rooms on the second floor with a view of the lake. We loved the fact that once we arrived, no one had to drive anywhere. We...

We stumbled up an ad for Silvercryst after canoeing in Waupaca and were happy they were able to accommodate us spur of the moment. It is a mom and pop type of lodging place and reminded me of a lot of places I have stayed at as a child. The front desk check in is in the bar area. Classic!!!...

Basic motel, lovely lakeside views, charming staff, excellent value! Makes for a great family get away. Everyone we talked to on the staff bent over backwards to accommodate our requests. We were delighted with the sandy beach just steps away from our rooms. The on- site restaurant was very good and it was so nice to have a few drinks...

We are staying at Silvercryst Lodge right now and have stayed nearly every year in the summertime for 40 years (since before sleeping rooms had private bathrooms!). Our family has wonderful memories of Silvercryst and Wautoma, WI; lots of beach fun, boating, canoeing and skiing on Silver Lake; great food, bar, bands and staff. Unfortunately, things changed since 2003 when...

The room was relatively inexpensive and its the off season but it smelled musty as soon as you walked in the hallway and room. I can handle that the room was outdated but then I think it should be super clean. It wasn't filthy but certainly not clean. Our room did overlook the lake which was nice. Being April it...

First off...we were not expecting much for the price we paid for our room. But when we walked in to our room, all we could do was giggle. Let me stress...that we stayed in the Lodge portion of the resort. We had friends that stayed in the newer motel portion and the rooms were much nicer. Our room was small...
