Out dated, but clean and honest. Ended up here after a horrible experience at America's Best Inn and Suites in Shell Lake. DO NOT STAY THERE! The people who run this establishment are nice, honest and everything an owner should be.

Exploring northern Wisconsin led us to a gem of a find at Green Acres Motel. Owners, Dave & Margaret Miller, were both welcoming & thoughtful with their suggestions & directions to many terrific family adventures....even a rock collector/expert which delighted our sons. Not only is the motel conveniently located to tons of outdoor fun and nature related activities but there...

My husband had stayed at Green Acres previously and told me how nice and clean it was. I was certainly in agreement when I joined him this time. When we arrived the garden was well kept and they had just cleaned our carpet that day. Very nice to meet the owners and Margaret was so full of information that I...

We have stayed as Green Acres since 1997. Margaret is absolutely gracious. Staying at GA is like staying with family(the ones you like). We always travel with our dog and always feel welcome. The room is always super clean and everything works. While staying here you won't be at the Ritz but you will get great value for your money...

This was our second time staying at Green Acres. Owners are very friendly and helpful, fresh free coffee in the office, rooms are clean. Plenty of room to park our boat and not worried about leaving it in the parking lot. Hope to get back up that way yet this fall.

My lady friend and I just spent over a week on the road and stayed in plenty of hotels on this and several other trips and I will say that I was extremely impressed with Green Acres. We attempted to find lodging in Hayward, WI but there was not a room available, after several phone calls we got in touch...
