We had a 3 day break, its a beautiful property, made with lot of love by the owner, the staff really pampered us during our stay , without even asking they laid our dinner in front of the fireplace and breakfast next day outside with the amazing view of Himalayas. Food was great , they would ask the guests what we would like to eat for the next meal, even separately prepared food without onion and garlic for just 1 guest. strongly recommend this place

SITH was long in our bucket list and we finally managed to get there this month. Road trip from Delhi 7 hours, one way did the scenic view via Kaladhungi and Nainital to Gagar. The roads are good and views amazing..from Nainital to Bhowali to Gagar, you avoid Bhimtal. Pluses (and there are many) -Property views breathtaking -Stayed Masters Touch and we were not disappointed -Room spacious and regular hot water and clean loos -Lucky after 2 days of clouds to view Naina Devi snow clad peaks (wohoo) -Property is clean, rooms artistically done and great out deck areas to enjoy coffee, Masala peanuts (no booze on premises, which is good too) -Wifi is good and no in room Tv -If you want to go to a gr8 placate and do nothing and take it super easy, this is your place (we enjoyed it) -Day trip to Mukteshwar to Shiva temple was amazing -Must visit Kilmora local artisan shop for handwoven clothing, soaps, oils (but expensive but seems good quality) we enjoyed picking up lots of odd things -Staff are polite and helpful -Food is good, small but nice spread and willing to customise to our needs -Small good inputs like risky menu shared on WhatsApp to choose from; we cut down some of the options to avoid food wastage -Just adjacent is Cafe Wildflower; brilliant views higher than the property and yummy carrot cake (don’t miss it) All in all; been there! done that!! Misses: And I am a bit harsh but… -No signage outside on main Bhowali road, we drove past the property as entrance inconspicuous but u turned and Google again led us to the door -Trek was avoidable no local inputs or interesting tit bits, we ended up avoiding twisted ankles and not stepping in animal crap.. -Wanted someone to share interesting info folklore about property or location (this is what you miss out on in boutique properties when the owner is off site)

My husband and I spent a few nights in June 2022 in Soulitude. It was our first holiday post covid and we were a bit apprehensive. The moment we stepped in the property, our apprehensions were laid to rest and we were treated in true old world charm and hospitality. Sanjay Tiwari and team go out of the way to make the stay memorable. Ratna Chandra s art really tugs at your heart. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the chai is amazing and the dinner by the bonfire each night makes you want to stay forever. After the commercialized hospitality at various five star properties, this was such a breath of fresh air. We are definitely going back !

Perfect place in lap of nature The place has feel of hotel and comfort of home. Courteous staff and hospitable . Delicious fresh food. As far as rooms are concerned if you don’t want to climb stay near main dining hall or in main house. Or opt for some room like blessing which has beautiful place to sit out ,and watch clouds fall on your feet. Food is served in main hall and is yum. Sanjay manager was hospitable. And had various good suggestions for trek etc. don’t miss orchard and forest walk with evening tea ,which hotel provides in middle of no where ,while you watch sunset They help you with guide. I read someone writing ,why kitchen was not open at 9.30 at night. Answer is -this place a in hilly terrain. Staff also has to go back to the valley walking ,sometimes three km. And when you at a lovely place like this. Mornings are early and night is quiet or Soulitude as they say. If u want late night food - keep some in your room , simple. My only request to management- keep a bottle of body lotion in room - even if it is a good local or Indian brand. Rest all is excellent. Tip- just outside the hotel is wildflower cafe with yum cake coffee and lovely view. So make a group of take a book and go for some time with nature Enjoy . Happy to answer any question.

We stayed in a room with a loft:-) 4 of us, we both and our kids. There was a sitting place with a deck that looked out onto the Himalayas. Food was home cooked, wholesome and delicious; evenings were spent over a barbecue and bonfire, there was an eclectic selection of books in the library. Plums and green apples could be plucked off the trees in the front yard. You could walk down to quaint tea shops for a cuppa in the morning chill. Or for bun-maska:-). Or for - as Ravi had - for bun-maska and jeera-aloo in Bhatt Ji Ka Dhaba:-). Mukteswar is close, as is Naini - which we avoided, we weren't into touristy...Staff is extremely pleasant without being overbearing and too zealous. Need we say more...

It was a fantastic place. I will surely not call it a resort or hotel, more like a home stay with all the facilities. Simple food but truly wonderful. The staff was excellent, specially Mr. Sanjay, who made our stay very comfortable. We were 3 couples and had the rooms called Joy, Delight and Celebration. All 3 rooms were in the same villa with common sitting room cum dining. A good campfire is created in the late evenings for the ambience. Amazing collection of books to read and the view is too good. They have few board games too so you can entertain yourself. All in all excellent property.

We stayed in the room - Quietude - for three nights in early June. The weather was hot and due to the haze we couldn't see any of the snow cap views but the facilities in this boutique property were absolutely top notch. The rooms are all big and spacious and have remarkable windows for an easy view of the hills. The food was very nice - loved the mutton preparations as well as the Kumaoni experience. Was pleasantly surprised when the chef delivered on a special request for caramel custard (thank you!!). There is a lovely walnut tree around which the property has been developed and you can also enjoy nice walks depending on your enthusiasm nearby. A special shout out to the in-charge, Sanjay Tewari, who went beyond his remit to make our stay outstanding in every way!! And big kudos to the superlative staff and kitchen team. Will definitely come here again during the winter!!

We stayed at Blessed in Soulitude and had great time. I loved each and every aspect starting with the spacious room, its ambience, beautiful view of Himalayas (Depends on the weather) from the balcony and to the forest. The rooms are very clean, place is very well maintained and the service was great. I loved the taste of food (I personally thanked chef and his team) and most importantly switching it between the buffet / to the table / BBQ dinner was a pleasant surprise breaking the monotony of keeping it as a buffet all the time. We went on a trek with the help of support staff from soulitude and was fortunate enough to see great scenic views on the trail. Sanjay went above and beyond with the help and support he provided for the travel arrangements. Based on my experience, I felt lot of time and energy has been spent on designing the entire experience starting with the rooms, food, ambience, amenities and service. My family had great time and thanks to Soulitude team for making our stay memorable and amazing! Last but not the least, the experience of your trip will also be largely influenced by the weather conditions. Luckily, we had cloudy (just drizzled) and sunny weather on each of the days during our stay. Depends on your preference though :)
