As an expat with family a relative in a nearby nursing home, I've stayed here now for around 10 years when visiting home. I can say that over the years I have experienced cleanliness and bare-minimum service. This time though they did not even hit the minimum. To get a rusty fridge wheeled on a wooden cart cost an extra...

This review is very late, but better than never. We stayed here a few years ago when we visiting Wolersheim Winery. The entire hotel is very clean and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We just booked another stay today for a mid summer event at the winery. I highly recommend staying here if you ever near.

Stayed here on business for a night and it was fine for what it was. There was nothing wrong with the Cedarerry...the room was big, clean and a bit dated. The staff was friendly, and the pool looked nice enough. The price was certainly right. But you get what you pay for, as the bed wasn't the greatest and the...

Harry_Hood95, Thank you for your feedback! Traveling for business is a necessary evil, but I hope you found our WI-FI to be above average and ample room to work. Most of all, I hope the business that was conducted here in Sauk Prairie was a big Success!

We have stayed here numerous times (esp for the local Cow-Chip Festival) and keep coming back. Why? High points: Nice BIG pool; clean & quiet rooms; well-equipped laundry-room with free detergent & dryer sheets; variety of hot & cold breakfast items; helpful & friendly staff; walking distance to city park, grocery store & good restaurants (Wood's BBQ, Subway, Culver's --...

151mmb - Thank you for taking time to highlight the Cedarberry Inn! You are right, "Glitz" isn't our focus, just clean and comfortable! We'll look forward to hosting you and your family during Cow Chip 2017, if not before! Thanks again!

This is a fine establishment in its own way, but I was imagining something a little nicer before I actually checked in. Although the room was clean, the quality of furnishings was on a par with, say, Super 8. If you're a business traveler looking for a proper desk, LOOK ELSEWHERE. The bed was mediocre and I did not sleep...

Snausage, Thank you for taking time to give fellow travelers an assessment of your stay with us. We see many business travelers and they seem to agree with the many amenities that you enjoyed, particularly the WiFi and shower pressure! I'm sorry to hear that you didn't sleep well, but glad your day started off well with a refreshing shower!

This was a nice hotel that was well maintained. A breakfast was included that wasn't too bad and had a nice sitting area. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but it looked really nice and had a sitting area available. Beds were comfortable but not the newest comfy beds with the nice comforters so could use some updating...

We stayed Friday, June 24, 2016. Nothing to brag about. Seemed clean, we did not use the pool. The jars of lotion and conditioner weren't sealed and had metal screw on lids and the lotion almost looked like it had been used. Or else, they refill them and it wasn't filled level. Any way, I would not use them. Our...

SakMak, I'm glad your stay at the Cedarberry Inn was clean, quiet and comfortable! Rest assured, we do not refill amenity bottles. That would be very cost prohibitive. For future reference, 30% of our rooms have a mini-fridge and microwave (Whirlpool Suites, Two Room Suites, King Rooms and Queen Deluxe) and we are happy to furnish one or both upon...

Stayed here one night on a stopover and appreciated the fact that it was clean, quiet, and met all of our basic needs. It's not an updated roadside hotel with sleep number beds but we got a good night's sleep. It's also not a dingy place in desperate need of updating. Kind of middle of the road, although for $90+...

This was our second stay at this lovely motel. It has all the usual amenities, but it has more than that. The décor is comfortable and welcoming. The double queen room we shared with our granddaughters, ages 4 and 9, was nicely large and we were conveniently immediately across from the pool entrance door! The complementary continental breakfast was very...

Went to the annual eagle watching days in the Sauk city/Prairie Du Sac area in January, 2016. We stayed at Cedarberry Inn for a Friday night. We stayed in room 109, a King whirlpool room. Bill C - Thanks for taking time to write about your experiences during your stay. I agree with you, when it comes to those water saving shower heads! It's getting tougher and tougher to find the 'old school', good ones. I'll keep trying. Hope you had better luck eyeing Bald Eagles during your trip!?
