We planned a one night "get away". We wanted a charming New England cliche spot to stay in. The Lucerne Inn was just the spot! Picture a picnic with a bottle of wine in front of our own private fireplace as the snow lightly fell outside. It was so picturesque! Some reviews mentioned it needing a make over or renovation...

This lovely Inn set in the Dedham Hills is a spectacular setting for fine dining at the hands of Arturo Montez a master chef who creates marvelous dishes at reasonable prices in a setting that will take your breath away. When we arrived, the owner of the Inn greeted us, and personally took our coats and escorted us to our...

Vintage restored Inn, beautiful grounds (think Wedding!!) Overlooking mountains & fresh water. Chef Montez puts out amazingly tastebud + visually happy dinner offerings. The Pub is comfy + well stocked. A pleasure.

The location is a key to the hotels' success. Right on main roads leading to Accadia national park. The location on top of a lake is beautiful. The rooms are dated, but it does not affect your stay. Breakfast is minimal and there is a lovely dinner.

I just returned from a three night stay. I escorted my 80 & 82 year old parents to Bangor, Maine to see family- and my Dad wanted to stay at the Lucerne because that's where we stayed 10 years ago. It was in need of minor TLC ten years ago, now it's in need of major TLC. It's old and...

This is a charming old inn, but does not feel old. Very homey is a better description. Staff was very friendly, food was delicious, even if a bit pricey for us. But the blueberry pie was worth every penny. We spent 2 nights, took a day trip to Acadia, which is a wonderful place to visit. Rates are very reasonable....

The Lucerne Inn is a perfect stopping point on the way north from southern New England to Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. We had a fantastic dinner that was reasonably priced for such great food. Scallops and shrimp were cooked perfectly in the mixed seafood grill. The sauces and presentation were very good and we arrived on their...

From the moment my husband and I booked our stay until we checked out, we relaxed. Jayne and David Silverman, the brand new owners of the Lucerne inn, are off to a roaring start. They both were incredibly enthusiastic and accommodating. They booked us golf tee times, dinner reservations and suggested lots of activities in the surrounding area. The inn...

But less than stellar service. We were a large party, 8 of us, in a small restaurant. The new owners had only been in place since March. There were a few other tables but, it seemed, only one waitress. The owner and the bartender both helped with serving but we waited so long for our second round of drinks that...

We arrived very late, luckily they had a room left on the top floor. It was a very cozy room with a fire place and a nice view over the pool and you could see the lake in the distance. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. About a 45 min drive to Acadia from Lucerne .
