BEDBUGS!! We had a block of rooms for a family reunion. 7 of our 12 rooms had bedbugs. The front desk staff was rude and would not move anyone to another room. The breakfast buffet was unsanitary. The manager was unavailable every time we asked. STAY AWAY!!

Booked through Expedia a king bed a month in advance. Was told by front desk no kings available, and given a queen, even after paying for king rate. Explained I would like what I pay for as I am extremely pregnant and queens do not fit my husband and I comfortably anymore. Front desk advised us to sleep in separate beds. As an active duty member, I have spent enough time away and cherish the time we do have together. Appalled they even suggested it. Room service is awful. Requested kindly numerous times for two weeks to have trash taken out, fresh towels and bedding. No service was provided. We will not be back. Only decent thing about the hotel is the gym.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. You can walk to downtown . The lobby is very nice and the staff was friendly. We got a suite and the multiple windows were charming. To tone down traffic noise, we were able to use the heating system fan to run for white noise. We did not use the pool or restaurant . Breakfast was fine.

The sheets were like crispy paper, the walls for paper thin I could hear everything upstairs and around me the tv went up to 30 only because they did not want to bother the other guests which I could not hear the tv because of the other guests would not recommend.

We booked our two night king size room through Expedia. When we arrived and checked in our room was a double queen. We called the front desk and were told they had no rooms available with a king bed. They also charged us the king rate which they assured us they would reduce to a queen rate. The next day when our room was not cleaned we were informed that daily cleaning was not included without giving them notice when booking. Of course that option was not offered to us when booked. We will be sticking to our usual Hampton Inn stays in the future.

Response from Tiffany Nelson, General Manager at Radisson Hotel River Falls

Good afternoon, I do apologize for the inconvenience. That is one issue that we have with expedia is instead of it coming through as what the guest books it comes through as a different room. I am not sure why it does that but it happens a lot with expedia. For housekeeping it is every 3 days as per the standard due to covid still going on. I would recommend contacting expedia as well since it came through as a QQ instead of a king. That was a mistake on expedia's end because we didnt have any changes in our system. I do apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks, have a great day, Tiffany nelson

Stayed here last night. Checking in was painfully slow. The room was so cold, I swear there was ice on the windows. Breakfast in the morning was a joke. Out of food, tables were all dirty. Nobody working in area. Hey, what do you want for 175 dollars a night? There are other choices in this area

Hotel is nice. Always stay here when visiting student at UWRF. Love their Juniors restaurant. However live music at outdoor bar was incredibly loud & disruptive. The entertainment needs to remember that while they are performing at a restaurant, that restaurant is located outside of hotel rooms with tired travelers. The volume could be lower. Tried drowning out music with air conditioner and TV to no avail. After driving for 10 hours, it’s unfortunate to not be able to relax in my hotel room. I will have to check live music schedule next time & request a room well away from the music or stay elsewhere.

Good morning, I apologize for the loud music however Juniors is independently owned so we have no control over their music they have outside. That is something that we cant control unfortunately. We can definitely put you in a room as far away as possible but we cant control the music. I apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks, have a great day, Tiffany Nelson

My wife, daughter and I stayed here while touring UW-River Falls. It was a bit more expensive than the other choices in that town but we liked how close it was to the campus. My opinion about our stay was a bit mixed. I'll start out by saying it was a nice hotel in general. The room was spacious and clean (two things that aren't always the case). I also thought the staff was friendly. They even allowed us to switch rooms when the booking app I used ended up reserving a room with just one bed rather than two. Unfortunately, we didn't get a great night's sleep while staying there. The room had a toilet that was running and, when the dripping noise wasn't keeping me awake, the constant flushing did (unfortunately, by the time we realized this, it was too late to have them do anything about it. Then, of course, we also had the noise from some rowdy drunken guests as they came back from the bar, though I'm not sure if that's something that can really be blamed on the hotel itself. There were also a couple surprises when we got there. One of them was the surprisingly sparse amount of parking. We were able to find a spot in the underground lot but my guess is anyone arriving much after us (we got there around 5) would have been stuck parking across the street since I'm sure there were many less spots than rooms. The bigger surprise came when I got the email confirmation from my credit card and it showed $325 for the room instead of $175. I'm not sure if this was because I booked the room through a third-party site or if it is the hotel's general practice, but the extra $150 turned out to be an upfront security deposit. I'm still waiting to see if it gets refunded, as promised. At minimum, it was not something I had figured into my trip budget and had to be careful about how much we spent on other things. We were also surprised to discover the bathroom did not have wash clothes, just towels. I'm not sure if there was a reason for that, but it was the first hotel/motel we've ever stayed at that didn't have those and it was somewhat of an inconvenience. Unfortunately, while we didn't completely hate our stay there, these added elements, combined with my lack of sleep, did make me feel this hotel deserved an average grade and I'll probably look at somewhere more affordable next time.

When I got to the hotel they said that my reservation was for a different room type then what I actually reserved and would not give me the room that I had reserved! They gave a handicap accessible room that had no lip or ledge to the shower so when I showered it flooded half of the bathroom. The "hot" items on the breakfast were luke warm at best and my daughter wouldn't even eat the biscuits and gravy. She said they were "cold and gross".

The worst part of my experience staying here is that the signage is, well, absent. Both Waze and the GPS told me I had arrived but there was no sign of the hotel on Spring Street. I was actually in the parking lot and had to ask a passer by, who luckily was able to point out to me the door which eventually led to the reception. (I did see a sign in reception that the hotel is about to become a Radisson very soon, so hopefully this shortfall will be remedied.) However, once checked in, I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are spacious, with fridge and microwave, and a very comfortable bed. The staff are all very pleasant, friendly and attentive and the included breakfast has a choice of hot and cold dishes, which set me up for the day. Junior’s, the bar/restaurant, right on the premises, was an added bonus. I would have no problem staying here again if I’m in the area.
