We stayed for the weekend to attend a baseball tournament in in Rhinelander. First, it is nestled on a beautiful lake a woods. Plenty of fishing, beach for the kids, basketball hoops, tennis courts and pool. The kids can stay busy all day. This is a definite positive. With the above being said, the hotel/resort is outdated. Older carpet, bed...

We made Holiday Acres our "Family Reunion" Getaway Destination for over 15 years now. It's a casual spot with a little something for everyone of all ages: fishing, swimming, relaxing, biking and great LOCAL owners. If they would just take care of a few small items I probably would have given them an excellent rating. 1. Trim the trees and...

I highly recommend Holiday Acres as a winter destination. I spent four nights in a lodge room and everything was very satisfactory. The staff was wonderful. The Three Coins supper club attached to the lodge is a great place to eat and has the coziest bar ever. There is a great x-country ski trail just minutes from the door and...

One of the best things about traveling from Milwaukee to Rhinelander for a hockey tournament is staying at this resort! Hands down the most accomodating and well the one with the most stunning views. The "hockey package" included breakfast that was scheduled around the time of our AM games; food was decent and included pancakes, hashbrowns with eggs and ham...

My parents started coming to Holiday Acres in the fall of 1961 for their 25th anniversary. Our family returned many years to celebrate their anniversary. The last anniversary we celebrated with them was their 65th. We returned as a family this Christmas staying in the Cedar Lodge. It snowed 6 inches the night we arrived. Everything looked like a Christmas...
