I'm so glad I took a chance on this inn. An amazing, attentive, friendly and welcoming staff, coupled with a refreshingly unique room. I loved every second of my stay there. Just down the road from the lakefront, and a short walk from some downtown shopping, I've found my annual fall vacation spot. Everything in the room worked flawlessly, the...

The hotel was great but be warned not handicap friendly. Location was great and room was lovely. Only drawbacks are that I wish they had provided a better quality of toilet paper--seriously--bring your own. Same goes for Kleenex and bath products. Expected a higher quality from this boutique hotel. CANT RECOMMEND THE RESTAURANT. Not only is the menu outdated but...

We loved our room which was spacious, cool, and comfortable as well as very clean. The hotel is walking distance to downtown and the harbor. I would skip the restaurant here (really didn't like that at all!) but bar and happy hour very fun. We had an ice bucket delivered to keep water cool but I prefer a mini frig...

We have stayed at the port hotel many times. Mainly because of the beauty of it. We have a favorite room. But the service has always been poor. It is always difficult to get a confirmation for our reservation that has to be made by voicemail. They used to provide a breakfast room service menu. But the last 2times we...

Our room was quite nice, the Inn is very pleasant and that is where it ends!! We stayed on a Friday night and apparently the staff of the Inn does not work on Friday evenings and Saturday. We had to go to the restaurant and they got the hostess who followed us upstairs to check us in. She did an...

From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. We stayed two nights, biked the Interurban trail-north to Belgium one day and south to Cedarburg the second day. Joe the owner and Kate the manager and their entire staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Had Criminni Ravioli ( not sure on the spelling) one night that was to...

This is a relaxing place to stay. The service is just as it would have been in years past. Guest comforts come first. Breakfast is brought to your room so you can relax leisurely in your fluffy robe that is provided. The room is furnished with the most comfortable bed and chairs. Our room even had its own fireplace. Jacuzzi...

We live just an hour away from Port Washington but thought an over night stay and dinner at the Port would be fun. We were not disappointed at all. Kate was a delight and we had a nice conversation with Dave the bartender. Our room was very comfortable and decorated beautifully. Having breakfast in the room is nice but we...

We had a spacious, well-appointed room on the second floor. When I made the reservation, I was told "This is an older property, there are no elevators." Be advised, gentle reader, there are 20 narrow creaking steps to the second floor, so travel light. There is a third floor, as well. Once there, however, the room is a delight. Comfy...
