Although the home is nice it is quaint. The rooms all have full size beds. There was only enough coffee in the morning for each person to have 1 cup. There wasn't breakfast, but there were offerings of a small pastry. ( bite size) The home is near railroad tracks and shakes a bit when the train comes through. (...

Very unhappy with this B&B. Jacuzzi was broken so we couldn't use it. Woke up to find a store bought cinnamon roll and an empty coffee pot. The other guests drank all the coffee before we could even get a cup. I went downstairs and knocked on the door to see if we could get some more coffee. The inn...

Our family rented a houseboat and moored up in the Pepin harbor. My wife and I decided to rent at the B&B since the boat was just a bit crowded. The Summer Place is clean and the owners are nice. We stayed in the back bedroom that was nicely decorated and of good size. The bath consists of a jacuzzi...

Didn't even meet the owners, no breakfast which they never told us on the phone, totally a hands off experience. And we love meeting the owners and hearing about the history of the house.. That's why we choose b and bs .. But not this one. You only have access to a small sitting room upstairs besides your room.. They...

Leaving this B&B after a very short night punctuated by the constant train whistles, I felt like I had been fleeced. The owner gives you a glass of wine to help you accept that for 175 € tax included you are going to sleep a chaotic night. Her breakfast is cheap: no fruits, no cereals, no yoghurt, just a nice...

Bill and Nancy are very accommodating and make amazing breakfasts! The rooms are simple yet perfect. There are no TV's and no wireless and you will feel amazingly relaxed because of it! The train requires some initial adjustment but I am a light sleeper and slept just fine! Bring cash because credit is not accepted in many parts of town!...

This is a fine B&B located just a short block from the marina in Pepin Wi. The room was great, complete with whirlpool and the breakfast was excellent. The view of Lake Pepin (aka the Mississippi) was great. But, be warned....along the Mississippi is a high volume railroad track with trains (and whistles) going by at a rate of about...

We had a wonderful time staying here. The breakfasts were hot and tasty. We would definitely stay here again. FYI-There are freight trains a block away that do run during the night.

My husband and I absolutely love this Bed & Breakfast. There are 3 rooms, all of which are quaint and very comfortable, plus each has a full private bath with jacuzzi tub. Unlike a lot of the B & B's around that have a "victorian" ambiance, this inn will make you feel like you are at the sea shore on...

“Definitely prefer a motel on the main drag: you won 't have the terrible noise of the trains , the car traffic at night is not significant, and you will pay half price.”
