We were a large family party and one toddler. Had to choose the day before from the al la carte menu, which was quite comprehensive. We had the private area towards the back of the conservatory. We were served efficiently, all food coming out of the kitchen was piping hot. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. We were late...

The C & P is a very nice pub and restaurant just outside Cambridge. We arrived late and had reserved two very nice rooms, with nice bathrooms. After checking in my brother arrived with his family and two friends, so we were 10 persons for dinner. The food and service were excellent and the wine list exciting, as it was...

We had a fantastic evening at this very friendly establishment, our waitress was not only attentive and helpful, but the whole evening was a pleasure from start to finish. The food was excellent and the seared scallops were beautiful, and the pork fillet was a delight to not only see on the plate but also eat. This is a place...

Set in a pretty village the C&P is a good looking, deceptively large pub and restaurant with rooms. Welcoming check in. Our room was super clean but I was slightly disappointed with the size of the room. Nice to have USB charging included in the sockets. Quality tea and coffee to hand. The room was hot. Fan provided which was...

The room was spotless clean & tidy. The service & food first class with the staff helpful and eager to please. Would recommend to friends and family. Close to Cambridge makes ideal although little amenities in the "village" (no shop just another pub) leaves little else to do which is not the establishment's fault. Would return.

We were lucky to get a table and needed a fairly quick Sunday Lunch which we received cooked to a delicious and excellent standard. Friendly, helpful service, not over attentive but quick and prompt. We both enjoyed our meal and agreed it was excellent. Such a welcome change from how the place was thought of locally before its change of...

We had a weekend break advertised on the website which included one meal in their restaurant. The food was good plentifuk portions and nicely cooked. There was one item though which I felt did not quite gel, which was to put sweet caramalised almonds with scallops. We both thought the food overall was good. The room was also good apart...

This is a pleasant pub restaurant set back from the main road in Horningsea, just outside Cambridge. Our group of 26 were seated at 3 large tables in the newish 'conservatory-style' extension. We had pre-ordered our selections from a varied 'a la carte' menu several days earlier - the set menu being unavailable on a Saturday. Meals were served efficiently...
