We stayed in the bungalow which was just for 2 people. I suited us perfectly. The property was clean and well equipped. the view form the veranda was stunning. The staff in reception were helpful on the phone when we booked and during our stay. We would definitely stay there again if we visit that part of Scotland in the...

Well appointed lodges with everything you need and I was impressed with flexibility over dates and length of stay. Good value. Staff very friendly and the lodge was good for the dog! Meals at restaurant were also very good

Return family trip. Four day stay, excellent and relaxing as expected, would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area to use as a base for exploring or for short family breaks. The pool is a nice small environment ideal for little ones to increase their confidence in the water. Lovely walks on site and a short walk to...

We stopped here for 4 nights over the Easter break and we were very impressed. The lodge has everything you especially in the kitchen, only downside was it was dark downstairs but when it's a base it's nothing major! The pool, bar and restaurant all on site were great especially when you have young children. The position is great for...

This was a really cosy chalet with great facilities. Used the swimming pool (refreshing), enjoyed restaurant and quiz night where dogs are welcome (big plus). Load up with food supplies etc as not many shops but ok if you have a car. Local beach nice and sandy though actually disappears for a long time before it decides to come back....

Our stay at Barend was very comfortable and we thought it was a lovely site/location. Reception staff were excellent and very helpful and the Deep Park next door well worth a visit. Sandyhills Beach was lovely. We thought more effort could have been made outside the pub/restaurant on site - a little bit devoid of any plants/greenery given that it...

Barend is a great family holiday spot. We have been going there for 11 Years and seen it get better each year. Positioned 10 min walk from the picturesque beach at Sandyhills which when the tide is out you think you could walk across to the Lake District. Villa 16 has a great position at Barend, lovely views etc and...
