We stayed in May's suite. It was so small you could just maneuver around the bed. The only dresser in the room is used for linens, so there is nowhere to hang your clothing. The queen bed was comfortable and the room looked nice overall, but the plastic flower arrangements and cheap plastic window blinds (too short for the tall...

This is a beautiful old mansion with accommodating host. After a long day of biking the large whirlpool tub in the Ludlow room was very nice. Breakfast was good, a lighter fair which was nice since we were biking a second day.

We absolutely loved the Ludlow. Randy was so informative about the mansion and the surrounding area. The breakfast was super and the coffee splendid! Would highly recommend the Ludlow and Monroe area.

The location of the mansion is ideal, close enough to walk to downtown but far enough away so there is no traffic. The owners/staff were very nice and very accommodating. The inside of the room and the mansion overall is in excellent condition, especially considering the time period the decor is from. The outside however, could use some maintenance, but...

We were visiting the area to visit New Glarus Brewery and decided to stay overnight. The Ludlow Mansion caught my eye because of it's beauty and history, also because it's a short drive from New Glaurs. The area is peaceful, the mansion is truly lovely, the staff was wonderful and genuinely made us feel at home. We will absolutely be...

I had the opportunity recently to travel to Monroe Wisconsin. I was quite dismayed at my selection of hotels. I may be a snob, but I don't do Super 8. I've to never travel into an area that didn't have a name brand mid level or above hotel. I decided to look at Bed and Breakfast Inn. I thought this...

My mother had passed away so we came from out of town looking for a peaceful relaxing place to stay. The Ludlow mansion was just the ticket. Randy and Shirley made us feel right at home, showing us sitting rooms, tv rooms and the dining areas that we could make ourselves comfortable in. With my mother passing, we had a...

Our stay in May's Suite on an early September Sunday night was AMAZING! We arrived about 5 pm and greeted by Randy who took excellent care of us our entire visit! This Pre-Civil War Mansion is just Beautiful, yet so comfortable and relaxing; we instantly felt at home. From our elegantly comfortable room to our delicious breakfast on the porch...

This B&B is a period mansion, with a homely feel. We had a light airy room, the bed was comfortable, and the room clean. Shirley and Randy are friendly and helpful, the breakfasts are good and vary every day. We liked being able to walk or drive to the town's restaurants. It is a good place to stay.
