Adorable 1800s vintage accommodations during a 2-night House On The Rock trip for two couples. I would stay in the John Tregaskis Cottage again, but you could hear everything between the two units so I’d only do the whole cottage with a small group again. We stayed in Unit 1 &

The room we had was very cozy with a gas fireplace, small screened TV as not to distract from the cozy setting. Pleasant sitting area and comfortable bed. Jacuzzi bath with the option to add scented mineral bath powder to enhance your relaxation. We were on the third floor. We

My husband and I stayed in room #1 to celebrate our 18th anniversary. The room was ready early, much to our delight. The décor was unique, really enjoyed the exposed stone walls and the jacuzzi tub. We were glad for the a/c, didn't need the fireplace but would have liked to

My fiancee and I are did a mini-moon in the days after we got married. This was a perfect place for a quiet get away but also had the convenience of good food and drink downstairs. Staff was welcoming. Easy to walk to the downtown of Mineral Point. Would highly recommend!

As far as I know, each room has one queen bed. They do also have a nearby cottage that has just 2 rooms, so you would each have privacy but still share patio space.

"We liked room #7, although it was described as the smallest. Anything on the 3rd floor would be quiet."
"Contrary to some reviews and website mention, we heard very minimal noise from the restaurant below."
"We stayed in room #1. She let us look at other rooms that were open, and while they were all wonderful, this one was our favorite!"
"This is a stand alone pre-civil war cottage, not part of the hotel."
"Each room is different, some are a bit larger and are slightly more expensive. Visit their website."
