Sorry to say this cottage was a huge disappointment. The size is fine. The location is good. The bed was comfortable. But, it is just dirty. The air conditioner looks like it's never been cleaned - and it's pretty old. Paint on the ceiling and walls is pealing. We opened a window to get rid of the musty, moldy smell...

We loved this place. It is tucked away behind an old broken down lumber-yard type building, and to be honest, we were surprised at just how well kept it was when we got in. The furniture was lovely, the bed was comfortable, the whirlpool tub was large and functional, the air conditioner worked beautifully, the linens/towels were soft. There is...

Great location in Mineral Point. Love how tucked away it was, very quiet, private. Gary was easy going and friendly. Appreciated the extra's like coffee, fruit, danish. Enjoyed MP dining and the Brewery Creek Inn nearby for dining. The back deck was a wonderful spot for coffee in the morning and star-gazing at night. Only negative was that the whole...

The cottage is exactly as the pictures show. It's a 1 bedroom cottage, tucked away behind a few buildings. It has a large heart-shaped whirlpool tub that pretty much fills the bathroom. There is a nice front porch for sitting and relaxing and a secluded back porch (which we ended up not using). The room was clean, quiet and private....

My husband and I decided to give the Garden Bluff Cottage a try on our anniversary weekend. We were delighted. It was a picturesque fall weekend and we really enjoyed the quaint little cottage tucked in behind the bluff. It was a one of our more memorable get aways. Gary is very hospitable and we definitely recommend the Old Lumberyard...

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for our anniversary. It was about the size of a really nice hotel room. There was a huge jacuzzi tub and a lovely fireplace. It was nice that it was a working fireplace, but it was gas, so we didn't have to deal with building a fire. It was quiet and private,...

Spent a wonderful anniversary weekend at the Lumberyard Garden Bluff Cottage. This wonderful cottage was originally built in the 1800's but was beautifully renovated and decorated with the conveniences of modern life. There is an incredibly comfy queen size bed and relaxing king size whirlpool tub all wrapped in a picturesque bluff. ask the owner, Gary, to show his awesome...
