What's important for a one-night stay? Quiet room, good bed, comfortable clean room with plenty of space, clean bathroom, security. The Ambassador is an older hotel that has been upgraded. It would be good for a several night stay, not just one as our's was. We were in town for a wedding. The hotel provided free shuttle service to and...

The rooms are very large and the decor appears to be genuine art deco. The bar and restaurant have a good atmosphere, the beds were comfortable, the hallways quiet, and overall, the hotel stay was great.

What a great find. I looked at this hotel and booked it when I found a great package deal. The good reviews I read were accurate. Lovely, mix art Deco style, old and new, huge very comfortable room....you say wow when you walk in...Yes, the shuttle is complimentary to where you want to go...that's unheard of.. Happy hour deal is...

Had the privilege of staying here for a couple of nights whilst on business and would certainly recommend to anyone heading out to Milwaukee on either business or pleasure. Upon entering the foyer, the Art Deco theme is most pleasing to the eye and it is worth taking a brief moment to appreciate the various features & visual delights on...

Very comfortable, a great mixture of old, art deco design and new, comfy beds and wifi. My room was big and everything functioned well. It's a bit of a walk to downtown but there's a free shuttle. A great stay!

The room was great and staff were very nice. When the desk staff person found out there were three of us, we were offered a free upgrade from a KIng Deluxe to a Double Queen Deluxe room. We enjoyed the little things like convenient electrical switches and unique archway into the room. My husband tried to ruin it with a...

Our clock was broken. We had a bachelorette party and the shuttles took forever we had to use another hotels shuttle to get back to our hotel. We got a 6:30 AM wake up call when we didn't ask for it. There aren't even fitted sheets on the beds and there was terrible service here and we had to keep...

$1,200 Damage to our vehicle. They tell you they have surveillance however, I highly doubt it. This happened 5 days ago. We were told they would follow up and get back to us. I have received nothing from management. Bottom line, they are in a bad area so you pay $20 to park, and when your vehicle gets damaged, you...

I just completed a very comfortable and relaxing 5 night stay at the Ambassador Hotel. I came to Milwaukee to watch some baseball at Miller Park. Comfortable beds, excellent and helpful staff, a very well run (and free) shuttle to the ballpark and other destinations downtown (just not the airport). I would recommend a stay at this hotel. The only...
