We booked our trip before reading the reviews...I was really nervous. We are a family of four. Yes, the lodging is dated, and the walls are thin. But, the skiing was great, no lines. Our kids had three days of lessons, taught by wonderful instructors. My family and I would definitely come back. Our next trip I would bring our...

There was missing sections of the ceiling in the hallways and they were extremely dirty. The "suite" was OK for 1996 and we had a broken window with tape sealing it. I would suggest not staying in the hotel section of the resort. As for the ski hill, it's extremely flat. They have 3 decent runs and 2 are closed...

A bunch of friends and I traveled for a golf weekend. The resort was dated, but clean. It was a rustic outdoors feel but it looked like nothing has been replaced since th 80's. The staff was very friendly, and the food was great.

I chose the site because it was hosting an event I wished to attend. When the event was canceled, I decided to keep the reservations and just make it a 3 day getaway with my wife. I was put off as we approached the entry doors by the dirtiness of the glass. I didn't see a clean window during our...

We were visiting friends in the area and needed a room for the night, Devils Head Resort was the closest. The property is beautiful, but the rooms need to be brought up to date. The room we had was very clean but real basic for the price. The walls were painted concrete block, the bed and mattress were vintage hotel,...

We had my daughter's wedding at Devil's Head, outside at the base of the Baraboo Bluffs. The site was perfect for pictures and no travel was needed. The indoor reception site was also very nice, food was good, staff were friendly and very accomodating to all of our needs. We stayed in one of the Condos which was newer, large...

The hotel has not been updated since the early 80's. Rooms are tiny and smell funky, but appeared clean. Indoor pool was sketchy and the hot tubs hold 3 people. Staff was friendly, and the outdoor pool was very nice. We were there for a wedding and that was all very nice.

We have stayed here previous two summers so my husband could run the race here. It's pretty much we have to stay here or else very far away. This year things seem to have gone down hill. Rate still good and they don't require us to stay two nights on the weekend which is good. Room had cracks in wall...

I was part of a group that recently stayed at Devil's Head Resort in summer. The area is quite spectacular with high bluffs, rollling countryside and the beautiful Devil's Lake. Unfortunately, the resort needs quite a lot of work. It is aging and has a lot of deferred maintenance. The staff tried very hard to make the best of the...

My husband and I stayed at the resort for one night because we were chaperones for an event and it was the closet hotel nearby. Overall, the staff was friendly during our stay there. However, this place is seriously outdated, it feels more 60's late 70's and didn't have a warm clean feel. The rooms are bare bone, beds are...
