My held a semi annual employee appreciation/holiday party at the ridge including dinner, drinks, a band, and special room rates to stay the night. The ridge is a great place to do this. The food and drinks were good and the room was very nice.

The lobby is updated modern looking and cozy. The hotel smells good too. I appreciate that they gave us a complimentary drink when I told them that it’s my husband’s birthday. The rooms are simple and neat, we got the lake view with an outdoor pool view as well, we came winter time so outdoor pool was closed but the lake views still beautiful. They also have an indoor pool that enjoyed with my toddler. They also have a jacuzzi and steam room. A few of the cons, the restaurant on-site is expensive and small serving. Only one small elevator on site. Another thing is that the soundproofing of the rooms is 👎 this disappoints me out of my stay with them. You can hear people talking, running, and walking in the hallway also hear the toilet flush of the next room! I wish they have better room soundproofing but if you’re looking for simple and neat this one is for you

Room Tip: If you come in the summertime, book a lake view room, the view will be worth it.

Very comfortable hotel and resort and a great staff. We also enjoyed the onsite restaurant Crafted Americana, as well as the beer garden. When we requested to have our room made up while we were out for lunch for a few hours, they did it via the welcome texts, hot every hotel is that accommodating.

I booked the Ridge Hotel, with my family, for two nights last week. We were thoroughly surprised with how updated the lobby and banquet rooms were. However, the guest rooms were not updated at all. The valance above the window was falling down, a piece of wood was falling down behind the valance (exposing several nails), the table in the room was unstable because the legs were loose, and wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the bathroom. We were confused because we paid about $250 a night to get a room with NO microwave. What hotel has NO microwave in rooms?!?! We also expected complementary something for the price we paid. Rather, our options were to order out or order from the expensive restaurant that was in the hotel. Finally, on the morning we were supposed to check-out (between 8:00am and 9:00am), housekeeping knocked on our door, along with others down our hall, asking when we were leaving. I noticed housekeeping woke someone up just to ask that question. HOW RUDE! We had until 11:00am to check-out! I hope the manager did not condone housekeeping doing that. Knocking on guest doors to ask when they are leaving is very unprofessional. I will NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. If you need to stay in Lake Geneva, choose a different hotel. Maybe you will get more for your buck. Please check your reservations in your bank account if you choose this hotel. They did not put my reservation through until 2 months after I made it online. I asked about it and the front desk attendant said the reservation was delayed because of the Ice Fest and they fell behind. I am sorry...ANY reservations made at anytime should be taken care of immediately. Some people budget and rely on that money to be taken out right away. The topping on the cake was that there was no one at the front desk several times when I went there.

The room that I reserved 3 weeks prior wasn't available (no reason given) so I took what was offered at a slightly lower price. Upon entering, the heat was turned on to 82 degrees--(it was a sunny hot June day). I immediately turned on the extremely noisy AC but found it wasn't cooling. After 2 visits from housekeeping and maintenance, I was told that it would be cool within the hour. After 6+ hours, it had only gone down 3 degrees. I turned the loud unit off and opened the small window that provided little air circulation. My roommate had no window in her space and demanded a fan that took 4 hours to locate. She laid with the fan 2 feet from her head and suffered a stiff neck the next morning. Neither of us could sleep. The front desk clerk Anna couldn't have been nicer but there was nothing else she could do. At the golf tournament the next morning, we were told that 2 others had no AC in their rooms and one woman was awakened 3 times by a TV that kept turning on. The hotel manager offered no refund or credit for our awful experience and still to this date, hasn't returned our phone calls. This hotel advertises many deals with the golf resort nearby, but we highly recommend you stay clear of this one and find lodging at a VRBO or the nearby French Country Inn.

Do not stay at this hotel, there has to be better accommodations in the area where you don’t have to be afraid to sleep in the bed. It was loud, dirty and awful. Staff is absolutely not helpful, nobody knows anything. The answer to all of our questions was “ i don’t know”

This is a lovely resort with nice views, but beware: It allows the public to use its facilities for $10 per person. My husband and I wanted to get away from our kids and this place looked like a nice place to relax in the hot tub, sit around the scenic sunroom by the pool and a read a book. . . NOT SO. All day, the pool was packed with outsiders taking up all the lounge chairs with their coats, bags, and even boots. The hot tub was packed with about a dozen kids under the age of five--along with several toddlers in swim diapers. There was obviously a family birthday party going on that occupied most of the pool area, as evidenced by the food, coats, and coolers. This was frustrating to my husband and I, being that we were paying a lot more than $10 a person to be there. Spoke with a manager who said they would pass along our concerns. We won't be coming back unless they change this policy. We paid for two nights and a resort fee and couldn't really enjoy the amenities because they are sold for a much cheaper price to the public.

Thank you for staying with us and we apologize for the inconvenience of the over crowed pool area. We will be discussing this as we try to monitor this area so our guest have first use and can enjoy this area. Also it sounds like we lacked watching the area as coolers are prohibited in our pool area's. Again thank you for staying and bringing this to our attention.

The hotel service was non-existent...all in the vein of Covid protection. The only protection I got was from having a clean room, fresh towels, and friendly service. It’s not fun to pay a lot of money for a hotel room only to have to make your own bed, drag your wet towels out to the hallway, beg the maid for more towels, have no help in the restaurant to serve you, and excuses that the food was supposed to be that way-like hard brussels sprouts. I’ve been looking for a hotel in the area to visit regularly… But this was not it, unfortunately. It’s a good location for the lake Geneva area, but there was nothing spectacular about the hotel. The rooms were motel-like. The bar was pedestrian...unskilled and not stocked, let alone had a decent selection of wines and cocktails; food was childish and tasteless. The restaurant lacked service and the food was average at best, but expensive. Wine list lacking again. Overall...will pass this up on the highway.

Many nice features at the hotel, but the outdoor pool is poorly maintained.
The few functioning plastic lounge chairs they have are horrific and there are only 3 umbrellas attached to the 3 poolside tables. Minimal areas for shade.
The towels are awful - the size of a handtowel.
Bring your own portable speakers and/or headphones to drown out the whining singer/entertainer near the bar area.

When we stay over night in a hotel we also expect to be able to dine in the restaurant there. We were shocked and disappointed on New Year's Eve that we were told sorry you have to go to find somewhere else to eat. That definitely affected my review. Other than that the room was clean, comfortable and spacious with a nice view of Lake Como.

I have no idea , I didn’t use them
Yes definitely have to have advanced reservations. They are not heated but provide blankets. I think they just use those fake candles to illuminate it but not sure.
Sorry, we were there in October. I suggest you contact the hotel. They are very cooperative.
The beach at Williams Bay, about 5 minutes from the Ridge, is open at this time. They have not yet posted a closure date.
