Nice grounds along the Mississippi River. Quiet and friendly fellow campers. Bathroom and shower room are pretty good. Could use a little updating. Sites are big flat and have concrete patios. This is our 3rd time this camping season and all have been great

We love to come here and relax, go hiking and biking. Just enjoy the beautiful views. There are many inconsiderate selfish fellow campers that feel it's OK to party loudly all night. We come here to relax and get away. There is no guidelines or anyone here to enforce, "quiet time". Very disappointing. It's other campers who feel being obnoxious...

We camped for 4 days and 3 nights. The campground itself is nice. Spacious sites each with a stone patio. We took the kids fishing at the small inlet and caught many bluegill and bass. Pettibone park and beach are conveniently across the street. The reason for the low review is the bath house. They were disgusting the day we...

This is a typical "sardine can" campground. The "backwaters" as they call it on their website are channels of the Mississippi. It is not "Camping along the Mississippi River at Pettibone Resort in La Crosse, Wisconsin," as they claim. Further, there is no peace and quiet. Loud singing, was likely fueled by the "sip your favorite beverage" line. When we...

We had a number of families camp with our soccer team while in town for a tournament. The campground was gracious & welcoming to our group and allowed guests to come in for a potluck in the evening. This campground is right on the river, so you get to enjoy the tranquility of the river, paddleboats, speedboats, people fishing and...

Great RV campsite. Gets a five rating from me on location alone. What can be better than setting up on a warm spring afternoon and sitting in your chair watching the Mississippi go by? Nice level sites. Restrooms were good. Price reasonable at about $45. No sewerage hookup so you need to use the dump station.

We stayed at Pettibone twice this summer. July 31-Aug 2 and Oct 9-11 and both experiences were great!! It is very clean. I had never used the showers before the October stay, but they were super clean. I saw a post on here about her Sept stay and how bad they were, but the problem must have been taken care...

The Good: The location is great for exploring the La Crosse and the area and everyone we met there were great. The Bad and the Ugly: Restrooms and showers were nasty. Not cleaned once in 3 day stay. Sometimes not toilet paper in any stalls. Shower curtains that started clear at one time (maybe in June I'm guessing) where black...

Stayed for 3 days, park is nice, sites are nice, location is nice. Ladies restroom had stalls without toilet paper for the duration of the stay, showers are dirty, shower curtains yucky. Did not look like anyone touched the ladies room in three days.

We are thinking of getting a seasonal camp site at this park. We arrived on a Friday & left Sunday late morning. Our site was #310, a pull-through site. Our site had water, electric & cable hook-up; a cement pad & cement tracks to park on (we have a big 5th wheel camper), picnic table & fire pit. The sites...
