I loved this place because it was simple, quiet, and unpretentious. The staff were more than accommodating and the food was amazing, especially the breakfast. The highlight was an evening pontoon ride and dinner baskets they made for us. I'm glad all the fancy resorts near Brainerd were booked, otherwise I would have never found this place. Other highlights were... More

We did not stay at the lodge itself so this review is not about the cabins or quarters. While staying at a nearby VRBO for a week, we quickly ran out of things to do with the kids. Luckily the management at Teal Lodge were more then happy to sell us a week pass to the lodge. There's a regular... More

I stayed at Ross' Teal Lake Lodge recently. After a terrible Spring, I was lucky that the ice was out of the lake when I got there( went out just a few days prior). The cabin I stayed in was nice. It was a two bedroom cabin ( Woods Lake). The kitchen was reasonably new, the view from the deck... More

We were looking for a place to vacation with our dogs back in 1995 and came upon Teal Lake Lodge. Have visited annually since then and just confirmed our reservation for another week up north! As a child, my family always reserved the same week at the same American Plan resort and I relished those weeks of fishing and boating.... More

Our family, and this includes the dogs, has been going to Ross Lodge for 7 years now. It is our “getaway vacation” – away from cell phones, TV, and the internet (although all this is usually available around the lodge area). Instead we spend our days fishing, boating, swimming in the lake or pool, going for bike rides, or playing... More

My husband and i had a fabulous time at Ross' Teal Lake Lodge. We stayed there this summer and are now planning next trips for us and others in the family. We are always in search of the perfect resort and this is it! Family owned and run, it is welcoming. Everything is clean, well cared for, and there is... More

My brother had won this on a Rice lake WI radio station auction in the spring of 2012. He and his significant other were unable to go, so they gave us the certificate to use. We arrived on Thursday 9/20/2012 for a 2 night stay. As we were pulling in, my wife and I commented how rustic the place looked... More

Charming setting, beautiful old lodge and rustic cabins on Teal Lake. The scenery is beautiful. The resort however is in need of some TLC and the prices are ridiculous. The management has terrible customer service skills and seems to be struggling with maintaining the classic appeal while keeping the resort current. Having stayed at several other quiet lake resorts, this... More

We toured the facility and were thinking of staying at the lodge. Nice location on a beautiful lake. However, the owner(s)/managerial staff are very unfriendly, the cabins are dated and smelled moldy and everything seemed to be unkept. A family owned business resting on their laurels. We looked at some other lodges in the area and found them to be... More

In these days of large resort condos and fancy crowded developments, my wife and I found Teal Lake Lodge a nice return to simpler times. It was so nice to spend time in a quiet & uncrowded resort and stay in a clean & rustic waterfront cabin. The wonderful kitchen staff kept us well fed, as the breakfast buffet alone... More
