Clean, friendly full service hotel. Front desk best around. Coffee shop, great restaurant, full bar and then a smaller bar on 2nd floor. Igloos set up for winter. Rooms larger than most. Nice fluffy towels. Event area in lower level. Plenty of bathrooms. Connected to public parking ramp. In heart of downtown, few blocks from Pablo Center.
Had a wonderful experience there. It was nice to see everything opened up again but still maintaining Covid cleanliness standards. Rooms were sealed until you opened the door for the first time. Rooms were spotless, with the most comfortable beds and pillows, which is what to expect at a Doubletree. Restaurant staff was accommodating and food was delicious. Atmosphere at The Dive Bar was friendly and fun. Front desk staff at check-in went above and beyond, even re-taping and fixing the ribbons on a bridal shower gift that took a beating as I "pack-muled" all my things in from the parking ramp. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
This hotel is great! The location is perfect! Very clean rooms, friendly staff, great food. The ECDC coffee shop has great coffee and breakfast food. The avocado toast is delish! I stay here when I visit my daughter at school. Highly recommend.
Making the reservation over the phone, the hotel personnel should let the customers from Out Of Town know that you will be parking in a parking garage. The parking next to the hotel is for downtown people so it was full. That did not impress me at all!!!! The signs were not well marked for the entrance of the parking garage since we arrived in the dark. This hotel was on Mayo Clinic's list for discounts, I told them I was going to be a patient at Mayo Clinic the next day, they did give me a discount rate if you call that a discount. For the room, it was clean but it was so basic, so basic it didn't even have an alarm. That's pretty basic!!! They had a fridge, but no microwave. Today don't most hotels have fridge's, microwave's and alarms, I think so!!! Unless being a Mayo clinic patient they give you a generic room, it was pretty generic. Also, the person that I spoke to "Stan", tto make the hotel arrangements, (he had an accent, he said "Stan" like Stanley), he was joking about me going to Mayo Clinic to have test done. I am sick and have been sick for 5 months, I DID NOT FIND THAT HUMOROUS AT ALL...... You need to teach your staff some class, or give a class on sticking to the script. Joking with me about Mayo Clinic I would have to say, that wouldn't be on the script if you had your staff take a class on speaking to customers. Stan / Stanley needs to stop asking customer personal information regarding Mayo Clinic and stick to doing his job!!!!!!!! In your survey you’re more worried about your customers liking coffee and what brand than quality of the stay.…
The good news -- our room was impeccably clean. The bad news -- it was on the second floor in front of large mechanical installations. Not only did these block the view, they made a lot of noise and caused the walls and bed to vibrate. Things got better overnight, thank goodness. We tried to change rooms but the hotel was virtually sold out. It was our first time away from home in over two years and deeply disappointing. The fact that we had booked the hotel through a third party may have had something to do with which room we got. One more thing -- poor lighting. It was hard to read.
Lovely hotel with wonderful service. Restaurant serves unique dishes, sourced locally food and prepared fresh; elegant presentation and tasty specialty drinks. Free downtown, undercover parking included.
Nice accommodations and staff. Good service. Great location downtown! Good restaurant. Very good rates for location and rooms, reasonable. Great Doubletree cookues upon check-in! Parking garage old and has bad smells.
Spent only one night at the Lismore while passing through Eau Claire and I thought it checked every box I'd want and would hope a hotel has. The front desk, lobby, common areas, coffee bar, etc. are all very clean and roomy. Staff is very friendly and seem happy with their work. Well done I say to whoever is hiring and training the team members. The room was large with some character, the choice of furnishings in the room was better than most hotels, had a corner view with some good sight lines of the area, the bathroom and shower are not cramped and the Lismore is a short walk to the water and a local park. You can see some cool murals and sculptures along the way. The only negative I can say is not the Hotels fault. Our room was close to a bar called The Firehouse. Their band was loud enough to affect sleep until they knocked off at 11. I usually am up way past 11 but was exhausted and had an early wake up so crashed early. Not sure if this is what might affect you but just be aware. The restaurant, The Informalist, was a very fine place to dine at. Overall the place was what you want in a hotel. Great job Lismore. If I'm ever in Eau Claire again you earned my business.…
I travel every week for work (and have for 20plus years). It has become very apparent that Hilton properties do not give a crap about their Lifetime Diamond members. The Lismore staff was short and rude and I had to call the Diamond desk to even get someone to try and work out the issue. I was not welcomed as a Diamond member. Just a shame. Becoming a Lifetime Diamond member took loyalty to Hilton and was not easy to achieve but it's obvious that doesn't matter anymore. Hyatt does a MUCH better job.
I cannot wait to go back! This hotel is one of my favorites in the state. My room was big, modern, clean, quiet, and had a lovely view. The windows are huge! Coffee shop, restaurant, and bar were all A+. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Second best part of the hotel is the location. You can park your car and walk everywhere: shops, restaurants, sights.
