The hotel was terrific. Spotlessly clean, well organized and well staffed. Those working there were friendly and helpful. The rooms were excellent and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I’ve always had excellent experiences with Fairfield, and this one was as well.
Incredible staff. The greeting at the front desk was amazing. Brianna (I hope I spelled it right) is the best front desk person I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. We were acknowledged for being Gold Elite Marriot members. My wife and I both have mobility issues, and Brianna went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. She even came to our room to help install some handicap aides. The hotel itself was great, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was the usual hotel fare, but delicious. I cannot say enough about this Marriot property.
This place is extremely clean which really means even more nowadays. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to make sure your stay is carefree. They always greet you with a genuine smile on their face. The breakfast buffet is plentiful with many choices and everything was fresh and hot items were hot and constantly refilled as needed. Whenever I come back to this area, I definitely would prefer to stay here again.
The hotel was well maintained. The front desk personnel were pleasant and courteous. Housekeeping was excellent. As a matter of fact, I found it refreshing that this hotel reminded me of the old cleanliness standards that the Marriott chain used to represent. It has been a long time (and many, many stays) since I have encountered a better run as well as quality housekeeping evident at this establishment.
My spouse and I stayed here while visiting family for Christmas holiday. Everything was as expected with a comfortable clean room and usual breakfast offering. I did enjoy they had coffee/tea available all day. It was nice to have my morning coffee by they small fireplace in the lobby. This is my second stay her, with the first being very shortly after they opened, and it will continue to be my first choice of hotels in the area.
We overnighted here in December 2021 and selected this hotel for a few reasons; it's location in respect to highways/shopping/eateries and that it was between a few medical facilities we had appts at. We have witnessed the growth of Eau Claire in the last 10 years and its expansion of medical facilities so it very much helps to have a larger selection of hotels in that area. This hotel is quite new, can be seen from the Hwy 53, is easy on/off. It actually is located between Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls proper. Room was quite spacious, as was the bathroom. Walk-in shower, with several built in shelves for toiletries. Large vanity with single sink. Coffee make provided, microwave, and refrigerator. Narrow closet for hanging items with ironing board/iron. Extensive TV selection. The rooms on back of hotel face a small parking area and hill - so there is no noise from the back side. Hotel self-serve breakfast was quite sufficient, especially considering COVID restrictions; including hot/fresh waffles/pancakes, sausage patties, oatmeal with fixings, cereals, yogurts, coffees, tea selection and juice selections. We experienced NO highway noise and in fact our overnight was very peaceful. On an additional note re breakfast: anyone with dietary restrictions should be pleased with what is offered. Small "store" in lobby next to reception desk to purchase snack items/beverages.…
One night stay on a Friday. The staff was great, check in, check out, and breakfast a good and friendly staff. The room was clean and looked to be new(er), the shower was great! They have a nice patio in back where we enjoyed the view and had pizza and a couple of beers. The breakfast was well stocked, and a nice selection of hot and cold choices. Free parking and easy to get to right off of 53 and North Crossing. The weight room had several treadmills as well as dumbbells and a couple of benches. The pool is very small and the water was COLD. We booked last minute, and I thought it was a little expensive, but overall a nice place to stay.
Dropped off our daughter at UWEC and they gave us a discount for parents!! Breakfast was good. Awesome fresh pineapple. Lots of selections! Whip cream for waffles! Our room was cleaner than I’ve ever seen a hotel! No mold in bathrooms, Sheets so white, carpet free of stains, bed was comfortable, did I mention CLEAN!! Wow! Staff was friendly. I spoke with the lady who made the food. She has cancer and even with that she had the biggest smile and said she loved making breakfast for us all everyday. Wow! Loved her! Praying for you!🙏🏼. This hotel was so awesome. Great job staff! We’ll definitely be back and Keep up the good work! It really does NOT go unnoticed and appreciated!
I reserved this hotel by calling them.as a Marriitt member for a reservation that evening. I then decided to cancel.because we decided we would drive thru to.our destination. The girl that answered at the front desk said we could not cancel. I always thought you had until 6 pm and we were never told it was nonrefundable. I had called about 3 pm. I requested a wake up call and never received that either. Good thing I'm an early riser. The beds are terribly uncomfortable. .
I liked every aspect of staying there with my family. The staff is attentive and the property is shiny and spotless. The rooms are VERY soundproof - you wont hear your neighbors or a nearby highway. A pleasant bonus - the location is very picturesque, your eyes will be pleased.
