This is a review of the restaurant only. We did not stay at the motel. We've been to Richard's 3 times now; twice for lunch and once for the Friday Fish Fry. Each time the food and service were very good. The people there are friendly and if you have any questions about the menu or want something a little...

Great as always. Friendly owners and staff, good food, great bar and adequate rooms. Plan on coming back in the summer. Right on the ATV trails so a great location. Very accommodating for ATVers and probably everyone else.

Great place for ATV riders and hunters. There are clean rooms, friendly people, a restaurant across the parking lot and beautiful scenery all around. I have been staying at Richards for many years and the new owners are continuing that family feeling. They have made improvements to both the restaurant and motel. Food is good in the restaurant. They had...

I stayed at this motel because it was raining and I had been fishing in the rain and I didn't want to set up my tent in the rain in the dark. I relented and purchase a nights stay at Richards. Even though I would have rather stayed out in nature, I do not regret staying at Richards. I paid...

We stop in at Richards about once a month for breakfast. They are quick to serve and have a very friendly staff. We are always happy that they remember all of the quirks that my "high maintenance" husband enjoys. 2% milk with his coffee. Peanut-butter with his toast, etc. I personally love the variety. Some of my favorites include the...

We ate at the restaurant on Saturday night. Had prime rib, which was very good. BBQ Ribs had a little too much sauce, but fell off the bone. Salad bar was pretty good. A little expensive, but its difficult to find prime rib in this area. Service was very good. We did not stay at the motel, but noted that...

Chicken dumpling soup is my favorite but their version was soooo salty. The broiled fish was very good as were the warm dinner rolls. Restaurant staff was very friendly & attentive. Came back another day and enjoyed a very good brat. They are located right on the ATV trail which is why we stopped. Know nothing about the hotel.

This place has been under several owners in the last decade or so and, although the last visit had not turned out well, after being closed for quite awhile, Richard's has once again reopened under new ownership, so we decided to drive out and give it a check. It was a beautiful Spring day as we drove down and we...

We stayed overnight here on a snowmobile trip (rode from Rhinelander, WI to Dunbar, stayed the night). The motel is just that - a motel. It is old, the bathroom in our room had pink tile and pink Formica counter top. The beds were comfortable, there was a tiny TV and a coffee maker. Since we were hardly in the...
