Stayed this past July based on TripAdvisor reviews, was sorely disappointed. First off, we had to go down twice to get lightbulbs to replace burnt out ones in our room. Secondly, the walls were gouged, the vent fan in bathroom filthy, and inoperable, and the carpet needed a vacuuming, and the curtains needed replacing. The worst thing though was the...

Everything about this hotel is great. The staff is friendly, rooms are large, clean, and very comfortable. Concierge service is first rate. I had them order flowers for Valentine's Day. The flowers were beautiful. The bathrooms are first rate with rainfall showers. I will definetly stay here again.

This was our second visit to the Delafield Inn. Our first visit was amazing. Very disappointed on the second visit. Three reasons. 1. Restaurant and Bar-Closed due to remodeling. The hotel should have let us know a head of time. We paid for a full service hotel and we did not get it. 2. Hotel Remodeling -The main reason we...

I bought the romance package for my daughter and her new husband to use as a "honeymoon" getaway. They had such wonderful things to tell me about their stay. The service was excellent, and they said dinner, as well as breakfast in bed, was exceptional. This is very high praise considering that my new son-in-law is an executive chef! The...

We chose this hotel for a short getaway based on the lovely photos on the website. But what a disappointment it turned out to be. The website failed to mention that the restaurant and lobby are currently being completely renovated and from what we hear the "look" will be entirely different - all trendy and upscale and lacking in the...

We had a corporate event in the Delafield area and used this hotel for out of town guests. When we went to look at the hotel I was surprised by the rundown appearance of the upholstered furniture, certainly they have a period piece look, but don't need to actually be from 1776. See pictures of sagging sofa, when we left...

We were there for a birthday celebration, and everything from the complimentary hors d'oerve to the musroom soup, to the main course, to the dessert, to the complimentary piece of birhtday cake, to the truffels that came with the bill to the service was excellent.

We stayed in a Premier Suite over Thanksgiving for 3 nights. Our son & his SO stayed in a deluxe suite so we had a comparison. The suites were both located on the third floor accessed by a very small elevator. The hotel itself is decorated in a wonderful old English style with many antiques and wonderful accents. Parking is...

We stayed at The Delafield Hotel on a whim, after a travel website offered a last minute bargain rate. What an amazing find! Small and elegant, The Delafield Hotel is a classy, old school respite near both Milwaukee and Chicago. We will definitely stay again!

First I will rave about the bathroom. Best shower I have ever taken. The jacuzzi bath was amazing too! I loved the touch of providing bath salts and a loofah. The bathroom tv is a great idea, but didnt really use it since the tub is pretty loud. I loved the aveda products...I now use them at home! The bed...
