The hotel is basically a two star at best. It is on a side lane heading to Chembra peak which closes down in summer months due to wild fires. The restaurant of the hotel is on the ground floor. The hotel itself is an on an elevated height so one has to go up steps to reach its front door or go up in a car on an inclined private small road to get to the parking. The restaurant has tables with green surface perhaps of the name of the hotel. The variety around lunch time is limited to local meals. The taste was very local and perhaps first time foreigners to the area may not be familiar with the taste. Rest room for each gender was limited to one. The staff was very attentive perhaps because there were no others in the restaurant. Overall the place was clean but due to open door there were flies around. Staff were from other states in India so speaking the local language does not help. English and Hindi might be more useful. Rooms are just barely two star and this would be a good place for bachelors especially men and not families.…

We stayed this hotel on May 27 & May 28, 2017. Totally 12 members stayed. Wonderful experience we all feel. Nice location, friendly staffs, spacious parking, mountainous view. I recommend this hotel to who are all travel to Wayanad and I eagerly waiting for second trip to Wayanad & this hotel.

We stayed as family of 3 for 1 night. For the price it was real value for money and the spacious twin room suite was quite comfortable. We did not use restaurant or order any food. We were told wifi facility was there but did not get password even after requesting for same. Generally service was friendly. A group of students staying in nearby rooms were quite noisy and we were prewarned of the same at the reception. Extra bed provided was a disappointment.

The hotel is right at the Meppadi junction that leads to Chembra peak. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant after completing our Chembra peak trek. It was fairly crowded with people like us who visited the peak. The food is very good with the local kerala spices well used. However we had to wait for long time for the food to arrive
