Awesome experience. Food, service and the location is nice. We spent 3 nights in the property. The rates are also reasonable. The host Ebin is vert keen in providing great experience to the inmates...
The Rippon Heritage was the best place for couples and family if planning trip to Wayanad. The scenery is good and the staff also good. It was covered with fog when we visited and is a must place to visit.
Superrrbb climate with good location will recommend all type people.. everything is one to one best ...no negative... Friendly staff also ...great experience thank you Mr.Ebin ..... We planned for one more family event on the same place ...
We had a three days stay in Ripon Heritage Bungalow. My family enjoyed every moment of our stay on this property. The first impression is the quiet setting before a beautiful old building surrounded by undulating tea-growing hills. We were looking for a quiet place to unwind being city dwellers. My wife had this property as her choice, which lived up to our expectations. Secondly, I have no words to match the extraordinary customer service from the family members and staff in this property. The family members are so invested in this property that they are always there to take care of your needs with a smile. Ebin is so invested in customer care that we never saw him with a face other than smiling. Another special mention goes to the kitchen staff. Every member of the kitchen staff treated us as if we were very special. They had excellent mannerisms. On the day of our early living, some kitchen staff arrived a little early to ensure we had a good breakfast before making our journey back home. The only dampener was the incessant rain due to the monsoon. If you love historical properties to stay in, this property will not disappoint you. A bungalow of 100 years means every inch of that property holds memories of so many lives come and gone. Once we checked out, we also became part of the history of that awesome bungalow. All stated, I should also say that if you are looking for the luxury of the highest order, this property may fall short, but it comes with its history. The custodians have kept its history intact without changing the structures to meet modern times. We were not looking for that kind of comfort, given what we were used to in the US. This property is safe for families and individuals alike. Safety never mattered to us once we felt the way they treated us like an extended family. We wish to thank every member of the family and the staff for the unparalleled experience and for making our drive worthwhile from Trivandrum to Wayanad, braving landslides, flooded roads, and red alerts.…
We (5 Couples - senior citizens) had the opportunity to stay at Ripon Heritage Bungalow for a night on May 1st 2022. We were impressed by their service and friendliness. The barbecue was done with a professional touch., although the food was good but it was on the expensive side. Mr.Sathish and Mr.Amal were the key personnel who interacted with us and were very pleasant and looked after all our needs with care. the facilities were all excellent.
Home away from home - that's how I would describe Rippon Heritage Bungalow. As you set foot inside the bungalow, you would realise that the bungalow has a number of stories to tell. Be it the artefacts adorning the corners of the room that scream for attention, the mini garden or picturesque location, Rippon piques your curiosity. The rooms are spick and span and spacious enough for you to amble around. If you are planning to stay in the bungalow for a day, there are a number of activities to keep you occupied- a walk through the tea plantation, badminton and cricket court, swing, bonfire area, a park for children and even a mini swimming pool overlooking the hills. We stayed at Rippon with our extended family for four days and as said earlier, felt completely at home. Our host Ebin Varghese was always at the beck and call. He guided us and helped plan our activities in Wayanad, including booking us jeeps to 900 Kandi and Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary. Special requests like bonfire, brown rice and beef roast were entertained without any fuss and on the last night of our stay, we were served some scrumptious Thalassery biriyani, specially made for us. As for lunch and dinner, though there is a fixed menu, the dishes keep changing, thus breaking the monotony. Different Kerala dishes were served for breakfast every morning. Food was well-made and served with a lot of care. With homely food, homely ambience and a caring staff, Rippon indeed made our stay a memorable one.…
I've had the most wonderful stay at Ripon Heritage Bungalow! If you're traveling long distances, here you will be introduced to Keralas lush nature. The green hills, the winds passing by gently, the crickets singing their song at dawn right in front of my room, will all stay in my heart forever. And Ebin, the owner, with his family, are the most kind-hearted and caring people, one can wish for, to guide you through this overwhelmingly beautiful place on Earth! Food is fresh, varied, and will be adjusted to your needs and desires. My room was clean and quiet, the staff always trying to make me feel at home. Just everyone at Ripon Heritage Bungalow will welcome you with a smile. And, when you leave, I think, you'll wear yours on your lips too, and maybe shine your light a little more than you did before!…

If anyone wants to experience an excellent hospitality, coupled with delicious food and a cozy stay at a 100 year old british bungalow, you have already arrived at Ripon Heritage Bungalow. My husband directly called Mr. Varghese to book the rooms and he was more than prompt to share all the details along with the beautiful pictures of the property. We decided to book our stay for 2 nights as oppose to 1 night that we were initially thinking of and boy we did not regret doing that. While on the road even before reaching the property, Mr. Varghese was checking on us and after reaching we were greeted by him and his son. They had booked us in their oldest big rooms which had a lovely fireplace. It brought old memories of all the british bungalows that I had stayed as I grew up in Army cantonments. It was like homecoming as the hosts including Mrs. Varghese made us feel so comfortable around serving some excellent homely food with lots of love. They have some great collection of Honey that we bought along with some different variety of Teas. While leaving, we just enquired about a place from where we could get the tea trunk tables and proactively Mr. Varghese gave away a couple of wooden trunks along with couple of plants that my mom in law wanted. Such generous hospitality which goes beyond all expectations is very rare in today's world. A whole hearted heartfelt thanks to you Mr. Varghese, Maam and Ebin. It was the most memorable stays that we have ever had.…
