Stayed here for 1 night along with a group. Garden area has a great panoramic view of the city. Organic design structures of the buildings were beautiful, big garden, nice rooms, great food and overall great experience. Offroad was quite tough and risky during the rainy season. Thanks to Shashank and the staff for being very hospitable.

Everything about this place is magnificent. The people behind Summit river lodge (Brigend's bend) run this gem. I did not know this when I stayed. I have also learned, they run properties along the Everest Region and have seen few pics of it. We are really excited about being there on our next visit. Once agaiN, thank you for the...

Absolutely overpriced, they served whisky and priced double without warning. No facilities in the rooms. So I have to say that if you re lucky enough to see the mountain...pollution...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A perfect, quick getaway! On the lush forested slopes of the south-eastern hills of Kathmandu, perched upon the Risal Danda, Summit Village Lodge is an exquisite traditional style establishment. Enjoy a glass of wine and dissolve in the peace that surrounds as you as you sit at the restaurant atop Lakhuri Bhanjyang, watching chaotic Kathmandu in the distance. Local village walks through the terraced fields are highly recommended. ... more   less
