Coming from Texas and had issues with our other hotel. They were so helpful with my stay knowing it was short notice and was willing to help out. Everyone was so nice and helpful and the room was great even for my fur baby. I will be stay here for our next visit for sure. Plus they have good breakfast!
Always a great place to stay when in the Barron/Arena/Turtle Lake area. Always clean, quiet, and a friendly staff. Great breakfast option when I'm in a hurry in the morning and has a decent fitness center. I stay here every time I'm working in the area.
Rooms were comfortable, the Hulu app connection was in and out so that could be worked out. The breakfast was okay. Found a hair in my eggs. So we went out for breakfast the next day. The golf course restaurant is excellent. They have a great fish and chicken buffet.
It was very clean and nice. The staff was courteous, helpful, and pleasant. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast that had hot eggs and sausage along with a variety of other options such as waffles, bagels, cereal, fruit, etc.
Very nice, helpful hotel staff. Appreciated the berevement rate and Olivia was a great help in coordinating rooms for my family. Rooms clean and well - appointed. A couple of improvements we would reccomend. First, ditch the Hulu TV thing - change to Dish if cable is not an option. The Hulu TV didn't work most of the time. Second, more counter space in the King accessible bathroom. Third, the water must be very hard and has built up on the shower heads. The showerhead had about 3/4 of the holes blocked so it was impossible to use. They all need a good CLR soak.
Great experience and hospitality the entire stay from November 2021 until March 2022 . Staff continuously accommodated me during my stay. They have friendly and hard working staff. I’m thankful they made my experience worth it!!
It was a very nice stay, we had an emergency in the family and had to leave early and the staff was so understanding and took care of the room charges. Nice hot breakfast scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. Would definitely come back.
Stayed here with an ex of mine rooms seemed okay but sheets werent changed had a weird stain on it that smelled very terrible when we laid on the bed. Front desk wouldnt refund money they changed the sheets [finally after 3 hours from a long drive] i would never stay here again it is super over priced for what you pay for. When im in the area i prefer country lodge honestly their rooms are always clean and the staff is okay [not some teenagers]. Very disatisfied.
Clean, newer, comfortable beds, adequate breakfast, and accommodating to the group there for a wedding. Probably the best place in Barron. However, they do not have cable for tv, but instead a fire stick streaming (hulu) which is extremely challenging to use. We had the help of employee, Jen, who was wonderful! Such a delightful individual with patience of a saint! We really appreciated her help in fixing the problem with our tv. Note to ownership: Go back to normal cable tv instead of cutting expenses with a fire stick. But know that your employee, Jen, was kind, patient and helpful in solving the issue of explaining how to use the tv and solving the issue of a bad firestick.
First of all, the staff and personnel we came into contact with were all helpful, friendly, cordial, ready to help out or answer any questions. Excellent small staff, they were working hard, working the desk, watching the breakfast area, doing accounting. Multi-tasking without seeming to be busy. Thank you! The property is typical, chain hotel, nothing to separate it from a Hampton, AmericInn, Sleep Inn, etc, two story, very clean, big breakfast area and a small workout area. Guest rooms had a hotel room sized refrigerator and a microwave. Nice sized guest rooms, ours had a view of the golf course parking lot, front rooms of the front parking lot. Location right in the middle of the town of Barron, close to everything Barron has to offer, nice restaurants, some shopping, excellent lakes, and tourist areas. There was a single computer for business use, located in the lobby, and a small canteen like store, carrying some essentials and snacks on site. We were in town for a wedding, and we were close to the wedding site at a barn, along with a 15 minute drive to a casino in Turtle Lake. Group pricing due to the wedding was under $100 a night, not bad for a clean, new room with breakfast. Only thing keeping it from a five star is no swimming pool or whirlpool on site. Excellent choice if your staying in Barron or the area in Northwest Wisconsin. Great staff…
