My husband and I decided to reserve a room at the Campus Inn Motel for our honeymoon. It was absolutely awful. I was accused of smoking in the room, even though he can't prove I did and I can prove I didn't smoke in the motel room. Anyway, during our second night there, he kicked us out, and threatened to...

Some people are over critical giving reviews of this place. Pros: 1) Nicely located between Devil Lake State Park and Wisconsin Dells. . .just a short 10-15 minute trip both ways. 2) If you go with the internet price today they are normally $30-$50 cheaper than the neighboring Best Western or Clarion - Our double queen bed room was less...

The hotel is old and not updated at all. Walls and floors are thin, shower curtains falling off the rods, bathtub faucet was separating from the wall, holes in the wall, and the AC was nonadjustable. The bedside clock would not shut off causing me to unplug it, and the labels on the clock controls were so worn off, I...

The staff member (owner?) was very nice. That is the last good thing I have to say about this place. This is not a bitter review. I have nothing against the hotel or it's staff. However, it is just an old, worn out place that does not see a lot of money put into it for upkeep. The owner(s) seem...

The motel is well located but unfortunately everything was dirty, reception, room, restaurant, bathroom and bed sheets For a room rate $120 per night!!! I don't recommend it unless you are followed by a big bear

Having driven through Wisconsin Dells before, we deliberately chose a more quiet location away from the hectic zoo-like atmosphere of that location as well as to be near Devil's Lake State Park. We requested a quiet location in our advance reservation and staff provided us with a 2nd floor room that indeed was quiet. Thank you. There is a nice...

This is an excellent place to stay for the price . Great Service, nice swimming pool, very friendly and helpful people. It's family owned and no professional attitude here. All in all I would recommend this place for the Value , comfort and hospitality. I will stay when I come thru this area again..

We stayed in room 201 for 2 nights, July 15 & 16. This was a nice clean room at a reasonable rate. Breakfast consisted of cereals and bagels/toast along with coffee and juice. The motel is perfectly located for excursions to Devil's Lake and Mirror Lake State Parks as well as the Wisconsin Dells. The motel is family run and...

It was overpriced for the quality, towels and jacuzzi were dirty. The jacuzzi had hair laying in it. You won't want to walk bare foot because the carpet doesn't even feel clean!

I booked a room for one nite on 7/2. The hotel name was suppose to be American Best Value. We couldn't find the hotel as the sign stated Campus Inn. We walked in and could see trouble. Very scarce/crummy looking lobby if you call it that. 2 men from Indian decent were there. I said I had booked a room...
